Exactly. Until we have 60 conservatives any budget will have to be a compromise.
Watch carefully and pray over how Donald Trump tries to live out “God bless America.”
The more wholehearted church charity out there, the less wasteful secular liberalism there needs to be.
The Constitution arose in quite a different spiritual climate to this one. Secular liberalism is a desperate attempt to let air into a smothering state of spirituality.
Of course in a building it’s better to ventilate it properly than to bust its windows out. But a fire crew will do the latter if necessary. The fire we have now is the fire of self centered religion. Nobody tries to find out how heaven feels about a problem.
Even more importantly, don’t expect them to vote for total miracles while the power isn’t there.
If we can keep GDP apace with debt service in the meantime, it’s the best we can hope. The new tax bill is a stunning experiment upon the Laffer curve. Older fashioned American production can stand to be unstifled.
Yep - the House managed to pass it w/o a single Dem vote....McConnell is Schumer’s butt boy or the People could have gotten a better deal - many voted for it because it funds the military and that’s the main reason Trump didn’t publicly complain.

It only is effective until 23 March. Then they have to do this again.
The numbers they wrote on the paper document are as good as numbers theyve written down in the past on paper documents.
IOW....ZILCH.

Sorry, no. The (D) and the MSM, I repeat myself, will hold the other members of the Uniparty to the ‘deal’ they offered; regardless of all prior.

This is all for show. There is no such thing as conservative or liberal politicians. There are only the power hungry and the governed. On the positive side of this bloated budget that funds everything they claim to be against, the Republicans have two years to float show-vote legislation to impress us with their conservatism. Hopefully more people will begin to awaken to the scam that is our current political theater.

Doesn’t seem to be happening HERE, the knee-pad brigade is out in full-force. The 2nd coming is in the WH and He can do no wrong.

So, Mo, how to get out of the conundrum? How to sell a less-nanny government?
>
Easy, you ‘sell’ it as it exists: on FREEDOM. *YOU* are FREE, to keep your own $$\property, *YOU* are FREE to contribute\donate as you see fit, *YOU*...
Sorry, govt *cannot* be moral, honorable, etc. It is FORCE and exists for ONE reason: protect/defend the Rights of We the People.
It is two year budget, not a CR? Then that is a good thing. Lots of discretionary spending. Hmmmm? Like $25 billion for a wall across our southern border?
That’s not so easy when it becomes used to avenge what Christian charity once promised. The great risk when launching a country under a benediction is God’s anger when the people walk away from the benediction. And the result looks exactly like secular liberalism.
All government employees love spending free money.
But are you expecting a dishonorable government to not matter just because you tried to define it away?
One might call a man with an axe neutral force, but it makes a difference whether he cuts his own firewood or murders.
So take your “sorry” where the sun doesn’t shine.
Like Reagan, the Don has to deal with a Democrat controlled Congress. Just that it’s not obvious this time around, and the Rats are hateful immature children.
Like Reagan, the only way to get their support is pork.
But now it takes much bigger bribes to get them to vote for anything.
We need more Trump congresscritters in 18 and 20 if you want any progress on this.
The GOPe is addicted to power
All that debt, and we didnt even get a wall.
im beyond stabbed-in-the-back
He signed it. So he owns it. If he really wanted the wall and less spending, he had all the power to say so. More than anybody else
Of course he owns it.
He’s owning something he doesn’t like because there is a much better deal to be had by doing so.
