For example, the White House leaks have all but halted since half the initial staff is gone. Were those individuals not vetted, but ushered in as old pals who were not all that on board with the boss?

What few leaks that do pop up are rather innocuous and could be very well now be actually orchestrated by the White House, useful as trial balloons or serving some other friendly purpose to the president.

Oh, but Clinton and Obama vetted their staffs. They were all Marxists and collaboraters, therefore found reliable. lol.

I never got the feeling Trump brought on people into the WH that he even knew all that well. Certainly, few of them were old trusted pals or even wise hands from the Beltway.

Trump was so dreaded in DC that reportedly anybody experienced expressing a willingness to move to the WH for the outsider president was shunned. He ended up with slim pickings and the vetting is so damn slow and ongoing that it actually never ends.
