He can sack whoever is running the university system
“The educator also accused the student of wanting to destroy public schools and universities”......
It’s because of people like those two paid air heads who are “wanting to destroy public schools and universities.” and are well on their way to achieving that goal.
In my state the guv can’t!
so there is no accountability of the university system to elected officials?
Grand televised gestures will, in the long run, achieve far greater results.
Yes they are. And that is a great reason to go to their website and donate $10 bucks.
We just had 8 years of grand televised gestures.
They achieved nothing. In fact, they were worse than nothing.
They achieved nothing. In fact, they were worse than nothing.
I disagree, they achieved what they were designed to achieve, destruction of as much of our Republic as they could.
Now it's time for grand gestures on rebuilding our Republic, so the citizenry can cheer and become involved.
Thanks for the info.
Theoretical accountability yes, effective accountability no!
Usually the legislature & governor (if they agree and it’s a mighty big political “IF”!) could zero out the state’s contribution to the school. (Note I am assuming the school has some trust funds! Most do of varying amounts!)
Of course this would be as popular as turd in the political punch bowl. They have no real “fine tuning” control e.g. It’s almost impossible to stop school from setting up a useless department! In my state the guv also has “theoretical control” by who he appoints to the BOR. These are rewards for politically serving the guv. These in general are not people who give a rat’s patoot about bettering higher education. Unless it means seats in the “boxes” on the 50 yard line!
It is beyond hate at this point - they literally act like people they disagree with dont even have the right to exist.
Youre quite right. Plan accordingly.
