There were offensive photos from "Never Trumpers" but the Cruz campaign didn't put them out.
Some of the ads "supported" Cruz because the other anti-Trump candidates had dropped out, but I don't see any evidence that Cruz was behind them.
Then there was the whole thing with Cruz's dad ...

And Cruz’s speech at the RNC, and Cruz’s robocalls about Carson, and Cruz attacking Trump daily going as far as saying his kids aren’t as ‘clean’ as people think, claiming Trump was involved in illegal money making his entire career, claiming that Trump was a fool, knew nothing, was stupid.
Cruz ran a filthy campaign, and showed that he had zero honesty at the RNC. There’s no doubt, he’d rather have Hillary in the WH, than Trump.
