Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas said in a rare public appearance Thursday hes exhausted with how everyone seems to consider themselves a victim these days.
At some point, were going to be fatigued with everybody being the victim, Thomas, the second African American to serve on the Supreme Court, said during an on-stage interview at the Library of Congress in Washington.
Thomas, a conservative appointed to the bench in 1990 by President George H.W. Bush, recalled recently being with a young black woman in Kansas who told him, Im really tired of having to play the role of being black. I just want to go to school.
I just get worn down, Thomas said.
The justice said his grandfather had a tough life but never considered himself a victim.
When I was a kid, there were tons of people who were in really bad circumstances, Thomas said. My grandfather would not let us wallow in that.
Thomas added: Hes my hero. Hes the single greatest human being Ive ever met. With nine months of education. But he never saw himself as a victim.

Thomas is a courageous and brilliant Judge. We need more like him. Pray DJT appoints more in the Thomas mode
He is one of few men I’d like to meet and shake his hand.
True class.
After Scalia died (....?) Thomas became my favorite.
This guy rocks..!
Easily one of the top five books I’d recommend to anyone for educational reading.
victimhood a.k.a. sissy Inc. it’s a money maker as big as racism the slackers always milk the systems.
There is (and will always be) people who had it harder than you but turned out better and people who had it better than you but turned out worse. The failure in realizing this invariably comes down to the blame game.

What an interesting comment. I’ve always suspected some blacks thought like that....
Now, I know,,,,
MSM HEADLINE BREAKING - Clarence Thomas, admits being with young woman, most likely has not stopped his sexual harassment after all these years...
In his grandpa’s age people cared more too — because they feared a God who cared. We ARE victims — of our own lovelessness.
Same here, Brother.
She looks like a typical nursing home patient after lunch.
If she didn’t dye her hair, it would be the complete package.
Oh but wait, she’s on the highest court in the land? What a joke.
Pay-Me-I’m-A-Victim.........that’s what drives “victimhood”........ it’s very profitable.
High five to grandpa Thomas.
