I want to see what this coward looks like. Heard today that the school cameras are on a 20 minute delay. Never heard of this. All my school cameras were on live view on monitors which could be split to show 20 cameras at one time. Zoom and remote moving of major cameras. All busses had cameras.
Sounds like exactly what I had installed in the school district I worked in prior to retirement.
Everything was live and downloaded to our server farm as it happened.
Any incident on any school could be viewed live if necessary.
All stored CD footage included time and date stamp.
Managed to get our local PD 5 convictions with the information we recorded.
Of course recorded footage will not stop a crime, but it does give the cops, district attorney, and courts something to work with.
The only solution to these types of shootings is armed District employees.
Administrators, Teachers, Maintenance Workers, and if necessary custodians.
Maintenance workers of all trades (plumbers, electricians, locksmiths, glazers, painters, electronic techs, carpenters, etc.) are always on sites for repair and maintenance work.
And SURPRISE, most of them are MILITARY VETERANS, just as I was.
They lied about it to reporters a few days ago, according to earlier articles. They said that there was no armed school resource officer. Someone was probably about to say otherwise publicly, spurring the official release today.
