President Donald Trump energized conservative activists at CPAC on Friday, celebrating his accomplishments during his first year in office. “Hey, we have got seven years to go, folks!” Trump told the audience who cheered wildly. The president arrived with a prepared speech but quickly abandoned the teleprompters in favor of a free-wheeling address.
Trump’s arrival thrilled the crowd who waited hours to get in for Trump’s speech. CPAC president Matt Schlapp said it was the biggest audience in history.
“I think now we’ve proved that I’m a conservative,” Trump said.
The speech quickly turned into a dynamic rally-style speech as Trump drew energy from the audience.
Catching sight of the video screen in the room, Trump joked about his hair.
“I try like hell to hide that bald spot, folks, I work hard at it,” he said. “It doesn’t look bad, hey we’re hanging in!”

President Trump doesn’t need a teleprompter to give a speech...nor does he need handlers.
I think he did great. He’s getting better and better at this. Meanwhile that coward Scott was cutting him off at the knees. It felt like he was turning the tide with the right approach to making the schools safer. But there was Scott sounding like a Rat. The only support this POTUS has is his base.
He’s being modest.
Fifteen more years, at least.
Hopefully he’ll stay accessible as President Pence’s policy advisor.

Way more conservative than Bush League Republicans like Yeb! and Kasuck or any of the ineligibles.
But . . . but . . . smart people said Trump wasn’t going to run for re-election, that he really didn’t like the job.
The hair moment was hilarious, and healthy he can make fun of himself.
I LOVE it when President Trump goes off-road free wheeling, that’s when he’s a,t his best. One of the great Bucket List experiences of my life was going to see President Trump when he came to Phoenix last August. It was a rollicking, rowdy and joyous rally. Mr. RooRoo and I had blast.
