I personally visited the nearest Enterprise office and asked, just what did the NRA do wrong? The assistant manager agreed with me and said the decision by top management was BS only he did not abbreviate the phrase. I told them that I refuse to do business with anyone who caves into blackmail from a bunch of bots. They also relayed to me that they had heard similar responses from other NRA members today.

Yes it is. Great system, but as for me, they can now shove it.

I dropped the NRA years ago... Been betrayed by them too many times plus their incessant spamming - spending more in even bulk-rate postage to hound me in 2-4 mailings PER WEEK, 52 Weeks of the year... than the annual dues...

The NRA is the gun-hugger equivalent of Jessie Jackson and Al Sharpton. They do just enough to keep controversy stirred up so they have an excuse to extort money from their supporters to “continue the fight”.

Here in Arkansas last year - they betrayed gun owners by lobbying for a horrendous limitation to an otherwise almost decent bill to allow firearms on college campuses... but the NRA worked with our RINO Governor to put all sorts of crazy restrictions after the bill had already made it out of committee and had progressed in the House...and was on the way to passage... So the newly amended bill - that actually made a huge mess out of the former bill - finally passed... actually resulting in far more confusion and restrictions on many law-abiding citizens - and also restricting the rights of those who have a CHCL...

No thanks.

OH - wait - the NRA is also the same NRA that helped PASS the last “Assault Weapons Bill”. The same NRA that has lobbied IN FAVOR of “high capacity magazine restrictions”. Blah Blah Blah...

>> Hertz, Avis, Enterprise...

They should suffer long term business losses.

Hopefully the others will see an uptick in business.

I cancelled a reservation with Hertz for next week. The lovely lady on the phone couldn’t speak to any corporate policies when I asked why they didn’t want my business. She said to contact corporate public affairs - she also wasn’t aware of any other amendments they might not like. I then booked with Dollar - after I booked with Dollar I checked to see who owns Dollar and it looks to me like its Hertz - cancelled that one - Fox is getting my business.

Thanks for the info. Just sent SimpliSafe an email. I was seriously considering getting a system from them, but no longer.

Dumbasses should have learned from the Target bathroom error. I have no problem striking those companies off my list. Plenty of competitors. I can even opt to cease being interested in the product or service at all.

Rush and Hannity do not “push” sponsors - they have to read their paid commercial promotional materials.

However, Rush could just read a list of those companies who are cutting customer discounts because they belong to the NRA. His audience is smart enough to know what to do!

Smart conservative companies should pick up the dropped discounts for NRA members. A 5-10% increase in their business could make them more competitive against the boycotters.

A 5,000,000 potential customer pool is not chicken feed.

One longtime friend and advertiser of the Rush Limbaugh Show stopped buying ad time on his show over the Susan Fluke affair. When that fizzled out because she was just a media slut, the “friend” of Rush asked to come back as a sponsor.

He was turned down outright by Limbaugh who said that since he friend didn’t stick with him during a difficult time, he was not worthy of being a sponsor of the show. End of story and the guy’s business probably suffered significantly from it.

I boycotted a local rug cleaning company who I wanted to shampoo a good rug I had. Went out and rented a due-it-yourself machine and the rug looked like new.

Screw the PC and the Left. My money, your loss.

If they want to be leftist assholes, I refuse to be their toilet paper. They can use the NY Times and Wash. Post for that.
