I find Mexicans invading my country, killing my country’s citizens, and bringing diseases across the border to be “offensive.”

Mexico doesn’t allow the invasion of THEIR craphole country on THEIR southern border.

Trump could say that Mexico wont be paying for the wall and that would make the Mexican happy?

But THAT wouldnt be the TRUTH.

Peña Nieto was eyeing an official trip to Washington this month or in early March, but called off the plan after Trump would not agree to publicly affirm Mexico’s position that it would not fund construction of a border wall that the Mexican people widely consider offensive, said the officials, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss a confidential conversation.

"condition of anonymity" Who is the leaker?

President Trump just keeping his campaign commitments.

We need to swamp the swamp during the 2018 mid-terms, and shove it right up their ass, just like using a

fat end first.

All money sent by American Citizens who show their passport won’t be taxed. How about that?

Yeah, that'll work.

“neither man would compromise his position.”

I’m so proud of my President!

He’s looking out for Americans like no president since Reagan. Mexico wants us to support their third world illiterate population while having them send OUR money back to Mexico. We have been used long enough !

That rationalization will not fly. That rationalization fails miserably in the current negotiations that hinge on congressional appropriations for the funds to build the wall.

There is no money forthcoming from mexico. At present, the wall sill be paid for by the issuance of debt, by the issuance of treasury bonds.

The ONLY thing the Mexican can bitch about is that Trump says Mexico is going to pay for the wall.

Its our country.

Its our wall on our property.

Seems I had this conversation about my new fence with my stupid neighbor 2 years ago. Good thing his kids hadnt become accustomed to living and mooching off of ME before I got it built!

If the political will exists in congress, Trump can find a quick one billion a year to finance the wall and make Mexico pay for it.

Remittances to Mexico amount to 7 billion dollars a year. A 10% tax would yield $700,000,000 to start. US aid to Mexico is another $300,000,000. That's a billion to start.

A 10% tax on imports from Mexico is another 5 billion a year.

Charge $5 per head for every person crossing from Mexico into the US would raise almost 2 billion a year.

That's 8 billion dollars a year without breaking a sweat.

The money saved (and a country saved) will be worth the cost. However, it will be offset.

That's how I first imagined that the wall would be financed.

I never considered that Mexico was going to write the US a check to cover the wall. Liberals laugh themselves silly saying that DJT is losing this issue, but putting a surcharge on cash being sent out of the US-by anyone-will pay for the wall in a hurry.

The surcharge should remain even after the wall is completed to assure that the physical condition of the wall does not deteriorate.

Money transfer on done on smart phone apps now. I saw one that was a skype type operation partnered with western union. It was only $3.99 to transfer $100 overseas.

Highly likely IMHO, the mexicans have to work with the democRATS to try and make Trump look bad, How else could they continue export their criminal class to the US.
