In this age of Affirmative Action those degrees, especially from Harvard, probably aren't worth the paper they're printed on.
The promotion he recieved was far more likely given based on his skin color than his performance.

The latest ‘information’ about a promotion or job change appears he felt ‘slighted’ and left work to get over it.

Heard on the news that his keys, ID, wallet, credit cards and even his dog were locked in the house. “Unusual” disappearance is right. In a way, it reminds me of the Sandra Levy case. Hope he doesn’t end up the same way.

I agree with you, whistleblower. This is an odd part of the story, “Neighbor Chris Torry said just a couple of days before he disappeared, Cunningham made an unusual request.
“My wife and him had swapped phone numbers, Saturday, Tim called over to me from across the way and told me to take his number out of her phone. It seemed a bit strange,” said Torry.”
