That's the crux of the issue. Permafrost over much of northern Canada and Alaska is not normal. It is normal to have lots of summer ice melt across the Arctic. Meanwhile at the south pole there has been no warming. Projections for melting there are not just fantasy but contrary to the data that says that there will be more snow as it warms down there. Warming, when it does happen, produces snow.
I ALWAYS say, if someone is “warmer” (than “normal”) someone somewhere else is “cooler”.
The lower average temps in Scandinavia will offset the “warmer” average temps in the arctic in the global temperature scheme.
Global warming lies, the religion of the pope and leftist’s of the world. The stupids of this world believe this crap because you can tell great lies in 140 characters of some stupid social media account (of which I have none and do not read or post on other than this one, which actually gives me more than 140 characters to pass along my thoughts). The stupids cannot hold a thought for longer than about 60 seconds without losing interest. I have heard high school kids at our church say they lose interest in a school class right after the teacher completes the attendance roll call!!! That is really a short attention span. They do not care what a teacher says because they want to be on some stupid social media site and reading and posting their latest’s hero of the left’s idiot thoughts. I am so glad that I am nearing the end of my life. If I had to have grown up in this time, I would have jumped off the bridge, water or no water below. AND, I thought the 1960s were crazy!!!!!

When I saw that story, I went online to an official weather reporting site for the Arctic Circle. It reported the current temperature at -25 Fahrenheit and at that level into the next few weeks.
