NO, it is a potential "big deal" that will matter if and only if there are serious long-term verifiable results, i.e., no nukes and no long range missiles in NK.

Until then, it is a hopeful sign that POTUS Trump is on the right track, but there is no "big deal" until there truly is a "BIG DEAL" that is enforceable and verifiable.

Kindly keep in mind that we have been played as yo-yos by North Korean leaders for decades. Carter, Clinton, GW Bush, Obozo....... Trump is different, of course, but it is absurd to count our chickens before a real deal is done, enforced, and verified. There are many ways NK can still derail this or try to evade.

Trump is different? You got that part right. And all those above you mentioned were puppets, corrupt insiders and or entrenched globalist. Trump didn't come from their world. He didn't belong their private government insiders club.

It's unnecessary to admonish me (however nicely) to "Kindly keep in mind..." the exact points I already had in mind when I wrote, "Whatever comes of it..."

In the end, it may amount to nothing and the future remains a completely open question. But, IMO, it's a very BIG DEAL that these overtures were made to this President, and no other one previously. You are, of course, free to disagree.
