“Designated Survivor” hasn’t mentioned the Vice Presidency since the VPs wife shot him dead last season, I guess it’s vacant and no one gives a damn. Penn is paid to “consult” on the show as well as act.

Yes, just recently, car slammed into her limo right after she got Bob Mueller to cut the crap and leave her alone (BS investigation by special counsel looking to run for the Senate), dude was “texting while driving”. I guess she wanted to leave, she’s gonna be on some new Hulu show.
They got rid of Virginia Madsen a while back, I guess the new unseen, unnamed, rarely mentioned Speaker is next in line, for a show premised on succession to the Presidency, that’s sloppy.
We’re not quite at David E. Kelley levels of randomly dumping characters but it’s getting there.
Disjointed show.
I watched her on “Californication.” I saw her first movie back 20 years ago “Surviving Picasso” where she appeared in the au natural. Alas, she got tatted up. Ick. Poor lady lost her husband back in 2008 when he was just 43, leaving her with 3 kids.
