what seems to be looming just over the horizon . . . is an ugly divorce

This has become very obviously true. I don't understand how anyone could miss it.

Trump should tell the State Department to issue a Travel Advisory for California saying we cannot say you will be safe if you go there so you do so at your own risk. Treat California like the 3rd world country it is becoming and that will get their attention.

Babbling leftist idiocy is like a tree on a hillside - it’s so common you rarely notice it.

But Kamala Harris plumbed new depths the other day with her cliched filled rant against Sessions and punctuated her point (?) - I am not joking - with ‘...there you go.’

This is the female Barack Obama?

“”There is no doubt California has a strong economy, as their leadership likes to remind everyone, it is the 6th largest in the world. But so what? We’d survive without it.””

Just think about all the tariff money Trump could squeeze from them?

Imagine a country without Maxine Waters having a say vote over our laws, or Jerry Brown having no influence over your life. Sounds pretty good to me.

And 55 commie electoral votes gone, changing the Electoral College requirement from 270 to 215. We all remember that Trump got 320, so he'd have plenty of room in 2020.

It's all just talk though. Ain't gonna happen, certainly not before 2020.

Let them leave and take their snot-nosed dangerous liberal ideas along with them.

They’re not happy being Americans and obeying our laws, California is better off as an independent country and we can build the wall around it.

A la hasta vista, as the Spanish saying goes and it doesn’t need translation.

I’m counting on an urban earth quake with truly massive damage

Since Kim is not going to nuke San Francisco, an earth quake is the only California salvation.

Yes since this website is based there along with the founder. As bad as the politics are California is the crown jewel of the US. One does not give up the Redwoods Yosemite and many other natural wonders over politics. Time for the Churchill quote “never never never give up”.

The US needs to declare California in open rebellion against the Federal Government and invade, crushing the rebels underfoot, hang the bunch as traitors.

The US can now do that thanks to the 14th Amendment added when they found they dare not touch Jefferson Davis.

Davis demanded a treason trial so he could prove states (back then) had the right to secede. Chief Justice Salmon P. Chase dared not give Davis a grandstand. He might have proven his case, so they passed the 14th Amendment to bar him from politics in the future.

You would think "The engine of the American Economy" would be able to generate its own electricity.

Or provide fresh water to its people, not import it from out of state.

Or build its own railroad tracks without help.

Man, that's gonna be a long, expensive wall - all the way from Texas to Canada!

Ten years is too long. I want them gone before the 2020 election. I say we split in August 2020. Two and a half years is plenty of time to make up your mind.

Grow some Juevos (Pelotas, Bolas) and enforce the laws of the land.

Arrest and remove all illegals.
Prison for law-breaking judges and politicians.
Prison for citizen offenders.
Hang traitors and those guilty of sedition.

Do it at the point of a gun.
It’s be done before.

Trump’s “Freedom Marches To The Sea”.
30 mile path from state border to ocean, direct at San Diego, LA, and SF.
Barbed wire fence with a “No Man’s Land” on both sides.
Shoot/kill/bomb everything that moves.

Would make an AWESOME movie.

Declare their politicians in a state of rebellion and start arresting them. Aside from a few riots (which could be easily squashed), the problem could be solved by simply taking control of the state government and enforcing Constitutional law.

Remember there are “good” people still left in Californica who cannot escape. As long as the progressives liberals continue to control the elections and bypass the laws, I fear Californica is headed for secession and maybe “we”, another civil war.

Californica (and other states) have been invaded by illegal aliens. They have become a major proportion of the liberal voter base and their influence is noted in local and state elections. We have to get rid of some of the non-citizen voters before things will change.

On way is to start at the “grassroots” level. The ICE needs to offer an anonymous tipster ‘hotline” and a bounty for each illegal turned in. Who better than the general public is aware of illegal aliens in their work place and neighborhood surroundings.

Of course this easier said than done, since 1-800 numbers no longer offer the anonymity they once did. But with new technological approaches it may be practical for the “good people” of Californica (and everywhere else) to “fight back” the invasion of illegal aliens. They know who the illegal alien invaders are and where the ICE can find them.

Up the ICE bounty until citizens are ready to “get involved” to the point they would “turn in” their mothers. It’s only takes money so let’s spend some before we give it away to the progressive liberals to pi$$ away.

I know they are “thousands” of ways this idea would not work to the “satisfaction of all”, but maybe it doesn’t have to. Maybe having the illegal alien population “looking over their shoulder” would be enough to discourage them from exposing themselves by illegally registering and voting.

Then gain, a detailed analysis of the Californica welfare rolls by (unbiased third parties) would uncover a lot of the illegal aliens straight away. As would the unpaid billing/birth records of hospitals, pay-day loan company defaults, pawn shop redemption records, etc. and business services used by illegal aliens.

Again, to find and deport these people will take lots of resources (time, money, and raw data). It may be cheaper to offer a bounty to those who self-deport themselves.

In the meantime, a “clean up” of local voter registration rolls and certification by outside auditors would help. Maybe citizens need to re-register periodically. Those who do not re-register (perhaps because they are dead, not born yet/aborted, or no longer live at the addresses given (i.e. Wallyworld/BestBuy/other businesses, under passes/parking lots/vacant lots, Zoos/Parks, etc.)) are automatically dropped from the rolls. Yes, there are ways to get around this but those who profit would have to re-expend some of their precious resources in doing so.

Finally Trump (congress) could declare war (there are many kinds besides nuclear) on the nations who profit most from the illegal invasion of their citizens into our nation. Maybe we could encourage them to offer repatriation deals to their former citizens who have strayed across our borders. Maybe they might even consider building a “wall” at their own expense would be more beneficial than a “war” with us.

Back to the “good” people of Californica. Foremost, it’s your “Alamo” to deal with. Either get out or get ready to fight the invaders. Maybe Sessions and the DOJ will wake up and ride to your rescue, and maybe NOT. It couldn’t hurt to drop Sleepy Sessions an e-mail, phone call, etc. to inform him of your concerns or just to say “Hello”. At least you will know if someone is manning the other end. As long as you receive a standard form reply do not worry...All is well in Washington.
