Those shoulders and her coarse facial features means she’s on steroids.
The penalty should be loss of the business license but no more and no less than the penalty a parent would get for leaving children unattended at home- if it’s her first criminal offense she should have just lost the license and been chewed out for being irresponsible.
This isn’t a light offense though, even if she used melatonin, which the body naturally makes by itself - she is lucky there was no fire or break-in while she was out something horrible could have happened.
Maybe she should have just fed them turkey for lunch and exercised on site while they were all in a turkey coma.
I have no knowledge of these events.
I agree the penalty is way over the top from the facts as I understand them. Either there is something they haven’t told us, or those people are just nuts.

No, they got this one right. Previous mistakes on other cases are not justification to continue too-light sentences.
Then she should not have confessed to it.
Several things here suggest the lady is not terribly bright and/or her own head was messed up with obnoxious substances.
