” The school’s zero tolerance policy says that students cannot be in possession of weapons at any time, whether on or off campus.”
Well.
Totalitarians gotta totalitariate.
I don’t see as they have that authority.
Need to go to a court and get an injunction against any punishment. Marxist pigs in the school administration need to be fired.
“””””The school’s zero tolerance policy says that students cannot be in possession of weapons at any time, whether on or off campus. “””””””””””””
I wouldn’t have made it through grade school if that was the policy in my day. I had guns and ammo in my bedroom.
I don’t see how that can possibly be legal. Are they going to dictate what church the kid goes to as well?
Who the hell do they think they are?
The school’s zero tolerance policy says that students cannot be in possession of weapons at any time, whether on or off campus.
The student who posted the statement that I read on Ammoland made one big mistake. He offered to have a mental evaluation. NO. NO. NO!!!! That would be playing right into their hands. He did nothing wrong. School policy violates his 2nd Amendment rights and his 1st Amendment right of free association. Never concede your Constitutional rights. It just gives the tyrants more chances to catch you up.
It not challenged, the school's next move would have been to announce that language includes weapons that were present at the student's principal residence. Somebody needs to be dealt with effectively...
That is blatantly unconstitutional....................
That means you can't be in possession of a knife that can cut steak, a knife kept in your fishing tackle box and used for fileting fish, an axe or hatchet for cutting wood ...
... heck, if you're Bruce Campbell, that means a chainsaw as well ...
I'd really like to see them be non-hypocritical and censure all students who have used a steak knife during the school year.
In fact, if the school has a field and track team, they'd better not be throwing a javelin ...
The leftist/progressive control freaks at the school need to be asked what other lawful expressions of enumerated Constitutional rights can students be suspended for while out of school and on their time.
So schools own children 24/7 now?
So...the shotgun class I took, where we practiced shooting clays and reloading ammo, as a senior? This school probably wouldn’t offer that class or accept the credit, even as an elective>
This would get me off my keister and send me to the next school board meeting. I would, of course, offer to help organize a campus wide 17-minute “Support the 2nd Amendment” demonstration, with all teachers out with the kids.
Its Lacey Township, NJ not Lacy. I know because I live here. Located in Ocean County, NJ. I have a daughter in the high school. School Boatd meeting is Monday and it will be packed with parents.
Next, the definition of "any time" to expand to include the future.
Unbelievable. Then my kid is an all-out felon since we have pics and video of him shooting some full-autos at a range in SC.
Outside of my job there are so few reasons to stay in NJ anymore..
The zero tolerance policy is unconstitutional in its massive overreach.
Ultimate hubris, definitively unconstitutional.
