Could be, wouldn’t be the first time some kid went from nice & clean-cut to a crazed earring-bedecked burnout.
That's what I'm starting to think happened here.
Grew up in at least a relatively good home. Somewhere between then and now he went to junior college between 2010-2012 (never finished), got fired from a job last August and remained (?) unemployed.
Went pot smoker culture between then and now.

I expect the roommates or others who knew him recently could testify as his situation, we’ll see what shakes out.
I tend to be leery of things that paint someone as a rabid this or that when these type of stories break - everybody on all sides have their axes to grind.
But we’ll find out what’s what.
(then again we’re still waiting for the scoop on the Vegas shooter, so.....)

also, I’ve heard scuttlebutt that the house the bomber lived in was a) very quiet or b) an animal house with ppl constantly coming and going. Any idea which is the real story?

John H. Conditt - FBI - headed internal affairs unit DC which investigates agent wrongdoing, 1991 retired 2001, arrested 2003, found guilty of sex abuse and molestation of children; trial in Ft. Worth, TX 2004 - 12 years in prison. Asst Dist Attny Mitch Poe of Tarrent Co. prosecuted and wanted a longer sentence.

....This is not the result. You have to really hate the guy to make him suffer for the rest of his life, even when his prison time is up. This sounds perfect for a serial rapist or pedophile, but its not such a great idea if something as trivial as public indecency or streaking can put you on the registry right alongside them....
I don’t know, but he had written in a blog that he was against homosexual marriage, abortion and convicted sex offenders being harassed and shunned, which could be about his own father.
