Omnibus Bill Includes Specific Clause Barring Funding for Donald Trump ‘Wall’
Breitbart ^ | 22 Mar 2018 | Charlie Spiering

The 2,232 page Omnibus bill includes a specific clause barring funding for a wall on the southern border that mirrors the new prototypes already there. The bill reads:

The amounts designated in subsection (a)(2) through (a)(4) shall only be available for operationally effective designs deployed as of the date of the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2017, (Public Law 115–31), such as currently deployed steel bollard designs, that prioritize agent safety.

Paul Ryan and McConnell are completely worthless.

Pelosi will be Speaker in November and Ryan will retire and go make money.

GOP’rs have zero principle...Dems know how to work the government and will fight you to the death.

Gingrich as Chief of Staff could have helped to avoid crap like this....Kelly has NO CLUE about how Congress and Washington works. And outsider President needs and INSIDER Chief of Staff.

Trump can still win, but the Pelosi Dims will impeach him. Senate will not vote for it though.

If you are right. there is no hope for the Republic. And I believe you are right. I also believe now most Republicans who make it to DC are liars.

Trump needs no Congress approval to build the wall as it is a National Security issue.

Yep.

The Republicans in Congress seem heck bent on losing it to the Democrats. They get the Congress because they convince folks they are different than Democrats, once in they expressly act like Democrats, and then they lose it again.

A cabal of nitwits.

What this proves is that you cannot elect an outsider president unless that outsider has the support of the establishment in Congress and the bureaucracy in Washington D.C.
======================

I disagree. Trump got elected by playing by his own rules. Now he's playing by the enemy's rules. He's needs to realize that unless the establishment fears him he will not get anything done.

Right now they're laughing at him.

It will be hard for the Republicans to regain the voters’ trust after this.

Is there a way to build a wall better than steel bollards (which appears to me what the bill requires)??

I read on a previous post that the spending bill is not a
budget bill and therefore not binding on the executive branch.

Maybe the admin can take the money and re-purpose it.

Hope so!

Look if Trump really wants the wall he will veto the spending bill. Its not that complicated. He should have signalled it from the get go.

Military will be funded enough to deploy troops on the border. Now lets talk about ROE, with Bolton.

“Now he’s playing by the enemy’s rules.”

Well it’s not his game so naturally he is not controlling the rules. Trump is basically an entity unto himself and completely isolated. He tweets, issues EOs and talks big but has limited power because most of DC can’t stand him. So yes, he will sign this piece of crap legislature because he is fairly impotent to do anything else.

Somehow, someway, the Bozos that vote for this piece of garbage need to be Primaried!

Maybe We the People can rid ourselves of some of these Judas Republicans! And the Democrats, too!

After all, they take an oath which, if taken seriously, would preclude them FRom voting for this piece of garbage!
