Fussion’s land footprint will be only a fraction of wind and solar power’s.

I guess this explains why nobody has talked about geothermal power lately, though it is renewable and does not kill birds and bats like wind farms do.

Like OIL (there is no “Peak” oil, the earth’s magma creates new oil CONSTANTLY)”

True dat!

Studies done on some of the first producing fields in the Mid East show more reserves there than when they first started production.

Maybe it is an effect of the magma, as far as I know, it’s not clearly understood how it’s happening but in some places there is a recharge that is occurring.

Crude oil is said to be the second most plentiful fluid on earth next to water and the Gulf of Mexico is the most explored place on earth for petroleum and they are constantly finding new reserves there.

If we have nuclear fusion, why would we simply stay on Earth? The Solar system would be open to us.

I think this will mess with the liberals even more considering how much we spend on our car centric infrastructure and land use.

I live in Los Angeles where our communist government is forcing high density housing on us by placing the housing along light rail and making it impossible to cross their barrier with a car. They are pushing a new bill that would give the state the ability to override our local zoning laws and build 8 story apartments in every neighborhood. Every neighborhood has to report every April on income inequality and what they are doing to provide more housing for the poor.

Dubai Police Hoverbike can travel for 30 minutes, 43 mph and 32 feet high. Its ceiling is purposely set low. They expect to start delivery within 6 months and cost $60,000, you won’t need a pilot’s license.

Have a good trip. 8>)

So far they haven't found anything that will support life, thought they think a planet has been found that MAY support life

And hey it's only 490 light years away from earth. Now lets see, One Astronomical Unit (light year), or AU, equals about 93 million miles. So that puts it about 45 billion 570 million miles from here. As a smoker, and no doubt it would be a non smoking flight, I would be an emotional wreck if I survived the flight. I'll just stay behind. 8>)

CNN reports that there is one closer at 11 light years, or 1 billion 23 million miles away. But we all know CNN delivers nothing but fake news. 8>)

My thought also, however, my big question with Mr. Fusion is will they develop a kit to retrofit it into my 98 Corolla?

Water monopoly empire-a hydraulic empire-hydraulic despotism refer to political rule by monopoly control of a critical resource. This was a political gambit of the ancient world which is still relevant today in a new guise.

Available energy allows one to circumvent, through application of technology, shortages of all other needed resources. Restriction of access to energy, whether for the home, transportation, or manufacturing is an action to gain power over others.

Moving down the road (colonization of other worlds) might take people out of their sphere of influence, therefore is not welcomed.

If successful, nuclear fusion would provide incredibly cheap, environmentally friendly energy to the world – and the researchers believe that the technology could be ready for a commercial rollout in as few as fifteen years.

...

Didn’t they say the same thing fifteen years ago?

The way Tech goes, I think you could then get the kit that would pull Methane out of the local atmosphere and use that to generate pure Octane that would then fill your tank...

Software can do anything imaginable that doesn’t violate the laws of Physics and Chemistry....

Muon catalyzed cold fusion has been around for decades. The problem is getting the muons.

But, typically, as lives, education, and living conditions improve, reproductive rates fall. Keeping Developing and Third World families in poverty is worse for the environment, in the long run; the radical tree huggers should embrace fusion...but they won’t.
