HONOLULU (AP) The house made famous in the "Magnum P.I." TV series has been scheduled for demolition.
Hawaii News Now reported Tuesday that a demolition permit was issued last week because the building is in disrepair.
The 8,900 square-foot (827-square-meter) Waimanalo mansion was purchased for $8.7 million in 2015 by Marty Nemolitsbitt.

What?!?! Your friend and I must define "rich" differently. One can have a nice house (on two-thirds of an acre) in Greenwich,CT...drive a Mercedes S Class...eat sirloin every night....and fly business class to far off places with a net worth far less than that. Those things,of course, being *my* definition of "rich".
Benson was good at being vague mostly.
Early on it seemed that Gov. Gatling was a dim.
Sometimes Benson sounded like a fairly conservative person on screen.
Miss Kraus was my favorite, she was funny as the tough as nails German. Inga Swenson had a fair singing career.
I only know he did taxes and corpoate accounting for numerous wealthy folks, and $50 Large is what HE said.
Man what a beautiful car. I wish I had the money to buy one.
Tom Selleck could have used a reverse mortgage....
(he does commercials for those)
The Benson Governor’s mansion is in Pasadena, California at 1365 S. Oakland Avenue.

I can’t believe no one wants to save the Magnum PI mansion.
The Benson mansion is nice.
In my best (albeit awful) Ms. Kraus “I hear you”.
Thanks for the link.
Always loved that car.
A bit out of my price range though.
I had a matchbox one as a kid.
Terrible. Im also surprised that no one wants Robins Nest.
Benson: Yes.
