In 1967, a Boston Marathon official nearly dragged a woman off the course after she managed to enter the men's-only race. Five decades later, race officials aren't as concerned about gender boundaries: They're now publicly acknowledging that transgender runners can compete using the gender they identify with.
"We take people at their word. We register people as they specify themselves to be," said Tom Grilk, chief of the Boston Athletic Association, the group behind the race. "Members of the LGBT community have had a lot to deal with over the years, and we'd rather not add to that burden."
At least five openly transgender women are signed up to run the storied 26.2-mile race through Boston and its suburbs April 16.

This is a typical example of how the activist/radical Left and Conservatives respond to and oppose bureaucratic ridiculousness
The Left would publicly organize 300 activists, with lawyers in tow, and letters from doctors, to register for the race as members of the opposite sex - to make fools of the organizers. These are Alinsky tactics and they are effective
Conservatives note the stupidity of allowing men to run as women, write letters, and talk among themselves, and count on the common sense of people to come through in the end.
Why have gender-separation at all? I mean, it’s all just a social construct, right? Shouldn’t that also mean the end of title ix funding too?

Liberal women can take testoserone shots, add a surgical body part, and enter the race as the 87th gender.
But they do. They celebrate it in fact. The lefties and feminsts have embraced the position that men make better women than women do and said your a bad person if you don't agree. Women, by and large, have dutifully lined up.
If this continues every top spot in women’s sports will eventually be occupied by a ‘man.’ In any sport where strength and stamina is a factor women will not be able to compete with a person whose body developed while being flooded with testosterone.
It doesn’t matter what the guy’s hormone levels are at the time of the race. He will still have the muscle fiber, bone density and lung capacity of a body designed over 10,000 generations for survival and combat while the women will have to compete with bodies designed predominantly around childbearing.
Congratulations, Third-Wave Feminists! You’ve brought about the competitive suicide of your own sex!

Good. I want more of it. It is 100% unfair and radical liberals are forcing their insanity on normal people.
I favor it because it makes it supremely obvious that the dickchoppers are living a contradiction.
Two contradictory thoughts:
1. Men and women are different in height and upper body strength, so it’s only fair to have two separate teams: male and female. Are there mixed baseball/basketball/soccer/football teams? NO!
2. Men and women are no different, but are exactly the same in capabilities. It’s imperative to eliminate gendered pronouns.
Add another:
3. A man can become a woman. (How? if they are really the same?) And if he does, you must now call him “she.”
Can’t change their chromosomes can they?
PROPER CONSERVATIVE RESPONSE
