No, FRiend, you happen to live in a free State. In less free states such as Michigan, you have to register your handguns but not your long guns. In states such as Kalifornia, you have to register all of your guns. In free states such as Arizona, there is no gun registry.
Four thousand is not representative of millions of gun owners.
For sure, Delaware is not where they think it is on this list. They might rather want to get the number of NRA members per 1000 and relate to that, or the number of Marine or Army members with a decal on their ride.
I’ve purchased all my firearms from private individuals. Not a single 4473 found.
That’s funny - every firearm I’ve purchased I sold to private individuals. Since the law doesn’t require records, that’s my story.

In addition, although the report was published in 2015, the data come from 2013. It also seems to be anti-gun. This is from the abstract:
” Gun ownership was 2.25-times greater among those reporting social gun culture (PR=2.25, 95% CI 2.02 to 2.52) than those who did not. In conclusion, we found strong association between social gun culture and gun ownership. Gun cultures may need to be considered for public health strategies that aim to change gun ownership in the USA.”

And in fact, at least where I live, that is perfectly legal, and none of the government’s business.

I took an oath to the US Constitution many times, and I know just what that document says insofar as my obligation goes to the government on my arms.

Maybe in Pennsylvania, but in my state I don’t need the government to approve ANY guns (Long, short, wide, thin, etc.) sold in private sales.
That being said exceptions are among family.
I would venture to guess that millions were transferred before and after the law.
Even looking at all the yellow slips they would only know where a fraction of firearms are.
I am not sure about this list that says there are more gun owners in Minnesota than Texas.

We both laughed..and told her "NO". Then explained to her about registration..etc.
Turned out...I wasn't there...wished I had been...but when Trump got elected..she came to work...and had a melt down. Screamed for no one to talk to her....LOL!!! The dumb ass snowflake..!!

It can’t stop the silent one. There’s not a whole lot that we private citizens, those of us not in the very center of government, can do about that. We already vote. There’s apparently not much that even our representatives in DC can do, that is, if they themselves aren’t in on it, at some level.
At some point, though, it won’t be silent anymore. At some point, they’ll have to start trying to physically compel people into going along with the program (such as when they try to confiscate our weapons, or force us to live in certain places, or other measures that will require actual, physical compliance). At that point, we’ll need those weapons. It may not be much, especially if the armed services turn against the citizenry (which is what I believe all the social engineering of them is really about-they don’t really care if sodomites and trannies get to serve their country, they just want those who will more likely go along with Big Gov and against free citizens in position, if necessary), but it’s surely better than nothing.
