Justice Department violated Michael Cohen's constitutional rights just by seizing his records [tr]

Harvard law professor Alan Dershowitz will have dinner Tuesday at the White House with President Donald Trump

He tells DailyMail.com that the Department of Justice violated Trump lawyer Michael Cohen's rights when it seized his documents on Monday

The government will set up a team of agents and lawyers to review the material to make sure prosecutors don't see anything 'privileged'

That could include documents covered by the sanctity of an attorney-client relationship, whose mere presence in prosecutors' hands could 'taint' a case

But since those 'taint teams' are made up of government agents, Dershowitz says the DOJ already has them – which is unconstitutional

Agreed. Re Lolita Express involvement....the good professor appears on the flight logs. Best to avoid involvement or association

Lawyers and ethics is an oxymoron.

The only thing lawyers care about is money. Everything else is just lip service.

Bwahahaha... Surely, they don't expect us to believe this garbage, right? These liberal activists think that everybody else is a fool.

These people are completely out of control and there is no one holding the leash on them.

Disagree strongly. Trump doesn’t have the luxury now to turn away support based on loose innuendo because he’s getting so little legal support as is.

Violated more than the lawyers constitutional rights. How about the very fabric of USConstitution. Non-representative FBI, CIA, alphabit agencies spying and search and seizing things related to POTUS is beyond merely wrong.

See Jeffrey Epstein and Dershowitz as his attorney. The convicted pedophile.. billionaire Jeffrey Epstein. And.. Prince Andrew. Epstein’s Lolita Express (jet) manifest has Dershowitz’s name on it, as it does Bill Clinton and Hills— the clinton’s have had a hold on him about Lolita Island (even as they themselves are confirmed pervos). So there is that— Joe DiGenova’s advice is worth quite a bit more— because getting the clintons off his back by giving “shaded” advice to Trump would loosen that hold. Dershowitz, lifetime fanatic liberal democrat and... opportunist.

my post # 27 below. dershowitz and digenova on hannity. Somehow DiGenova is “no good” because his wife V. Toensing represents the Uranium 1 “covert” uncovered FBI informant, but dershowitz said to be OK (by the clinton media mob) and trump might believe him. Not a good thing... maybe parts of his advice (as seen on the hannity show with digenova)... but not anything official in the chain of information with Rosenstein, and no... not to replace Rosenstein (or Sessions) no way.

Someone needs to go to jail for this. Rosenstein, Mueller, somebody.

Actually you are one thousand percent WRONG. Lawyers are the last defense against government overreach so you best be aware of that.

You know, the Dems have been waiting breathlessly for Trump to fall into a Saturday Night Massacre scenario so they can start screaming impeachment. I'm thinking that we might just have had that very thing, but not by Trump. This raid was so far over the line that it seems to have precipitated a reaction, and not the ones the Dems were hoping for. If this stands no lawyer in the country's records, office, or home is safe, nor is there any such thing as client/attorney privilege.

While I respect the erudition of Dershowitz, he isn't our white knight. Certain people who should have been supporting their President but have been discreetly playing both ends against the middle are going to have to declare themselves, one way or the other. For those of us who have been wondering just how far Mueller would go to force a firing, it's at least this far and likely to be further.

"I think I’ve discovered the problem. Mueller and Rosenstein are Russian agents. Think about it, they are destroying the American justice system. They are distracting an American President During very troubled times. I’ll bet those two are on the take big time"

Why stop there? Take it to the top over the preceding 8 year presidency of Odungsh*t himself, spawn of his Commie mother 'Stanley' and his Commie father Frank Marshall Davis. Every hire and appointee Odunga made were also Russian agents including Valerie Jarrett, Hitlery Clinton, Rice, Mills, Clapper, COMMIE-VOTER BRENNAN, Comey, Lynch and the entire lot of Obammunists.

This is a Russian PLOT from the day Odunga was born and he was groomed to be president. And if he hadn't gotten elected they'd probably run Van Jones in his place.

Obama's FAKE PEDIGREE replete with FAKE photos, all a carefully crafted PLOT including his FAKE birth certificate.

Remember this photo, is that Frank Davis' HAND that someone forgot to make white?

NO WAY that is a shadow, uh uhhh, NO.

Ofcourse, they give us assurances that privileged material will be protected. Who these days will believe these promises by the Democrat DOJ/FBI?

Look at it like this.

Hillary posted dozens of SAP level things on a public server, widely considered to have been hacked by up to five foreign intelligence servers.

The servers are not seized; Hillary is allowed to pick and choose which emails to *give* to the DOJ; and corrupt-as-Hell Comey announces "no reasonable prosecutor would bring such a case" after having been coached into that language, IIRC by Podesta the Molesta.

Trump has done nothing wrong, but on the basis of an admittedly fraudulent set of docs, and open lies to a FISA court, Trump is wiretapped and dozens to hundreds of other Americans are wiretapped and "unmasked" and by special executive order of the Communist Muslim non-natural-born usurper, these KGB-style wiretaps are distributed to 17 different Federal Agencies.

The government's response, is to violate the President's Attorney-Client Privilege and leak this fact to the press.

Oh, and prominent Democrats are all singing in concert about removing the 2nd Amendment.

Bill, think of this.

Trump can take this to the Supremes. If the Deep State still has Roberts' ovaries in a vise, and they rule against the President, guess what?

You have a VERY pissed-off the Donald, as Commander in Chief, with all of his Deplorables too, and he now has the ability to violate ANY attorney-client privilege to go after the Deep State: literally to the point of extinction. :-)

All FBI Field Agents must have a law degree, but they do not have to be practicing attorneys.

NO, it clearly says at your link that only ONE of the 5 FBI programs requires a law degree.
