The only thing I have disagreed with Trump is this bombing nonsense!

He will be praised tomorrow by the elites and the day after attacked by those same people.

The important thing is he won’t be praised by Hizbollah or the IRGC.

The first intelligent post I have read tonight on the apparent Syria bombing. The hair on fire hand ringing responses of many here is down right embarrassing. There is far more at play here than most of us realize. Assad is only a minor player.

France, UK and the United States all confirmed Assad used chemical weapons. The red line was crossed and we treated the bully like he must be treated. If we stand down and let this action go without consequences, where will it go next? Jordan? Israel? Saudi Arabia? London? New York . . .

All was reliable intelligence, credible medical personnel gave legitimate evidence, high definition photos were examined, photos showed the barrel bombs dropped and symptoms were found of the use of sarin gas. Chemical weapons are on the loose and their proliferation cannot stand. The U.S. will not stand for another disinformation campaign by Russia like they used after the April, 2017 gas attack. I think that disinformation you have bought into.

“These are not the actions of a man.
They are crimes of a monster instead.”
- said 45th President Donald Trump

“America does not go abroad in search of monsters to destroy.”
- said 6th President John Quincy Adams

We have military intelligence assets over Syria, we have UK intelligence, French intelligence and Israeli intelligence all collaborating with us. This intelligence is not from some crap pot monitoring operation in the basement of the CSA. All contributed in helping to light up the Syrian landscape orange. We gave Syria orange for crossing the red line.

We're way beyond the 18th century.

Welcome to the party, pal.

Ok so I am ok with that. If the public is told what the intelligence is. Protect sources and methods of course but do not ask the public to take it on faith.

I have a hard time believing the same defense and foreign policy establishment that has lied frequently since Ronald Reagan left office almost 30 years ago, about both Iraq wars, Yugoslavia, Libya, etc. I have a hard time believing the same MSM that constantly lies about domestic matters like mass shootings, Trump, other conservative leaders, the crimes of the Clintons, Obama, and the Kennedys (back in the day). I don’t believe Putin, either, but I think he blinked, since Russia really doesn’t have the naval power to even challenge Britain and France, much less the U.S.

First off, America is not the bully. Bullies will create havoc if people back down. When Zer0 put that red line on the sand and backed down, a huge vacuum emerged in the Middle East. Today there are dire consequences for letting the bully do what he wants. Syria has become a client state of Russia and is using Russia to back him up. That makes Syria even more dangerous. There is the danger of chemical weapon proliferation. A murderous bully cannot be loose with these weapons. There are worse catastrophes that he can wage using terrorist operatives.

Russia is too busy towing it’s ships that keep breaking down to tangle with us

If the had any balls they would have hit us when we started sending military supplies to Crimea

Putin is full of hot air.

Incredible situation. The President of New Rome is under legal attack by a completely corrupt New Roman Senate. They accuse him of collaborating with our enemies to the north. Publicly label him a traitor and call for impeachment. Suddenly, a covert use of deep state wmd, forces the President to prove he is not a traitor. And the bombing of Damascus has begun.

Amazing. Who the heck could have predicted that ?

Best reply(s) I have seen tonight.

Also, 1-2 yrs ago I remember a few threads concerning the routing of NEW pipelines into Europe from the ME and also WHO controlled those pipelines. Russia was not happy about the or possible new competition.

I am sickened.

If we are able to know that McStain had a big hand in helping ISIS in Syria and that their fingerprints and spider webs are all over these chem-bomb attacks, then how come Trump can't figure it out?
