Popular pro-Trump internet duo Diamond and Silk will testify before the House Judiciary Committee over growing concerns that social media companies such as Facebook are routinely censoring and suppressing conservative content. The duo, whose real names are Lynnette Hardaway and Rochelle Richardson, will attend a panel alongside Corynne McSherry of the Electronic Frontier Foundation and CEO of the News Media Alliance David Chavern to “examine social media filtering and policing practices.”
Rep. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN), a leading voice on social media censorship who grilled Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg on the issue last week, will also testify before the committee. Rep. Blackburn recently received President Trump’s endorsement in her bid to become Senator from Tennessee.
Representatives from companies such as Facebook, Google, and Twitter were also invited, although it is unclear whether they will attend.
“This hearing will focus on what metrics social media platforms use to moderate content, how filtering decisions are made, and whether viewpoints have been silenced on some of the most popular and widely used platforms,” a press release reads.
The women, who rose to fame in the run-up to 2016 presidential by posting humorous endorsements of Donald Trump, recently accused Facebook of deeming their content and videos “unsafe to the community,” a charge that Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg later claimed was merely an “enforcement error” that his staff would rectify.

Anyone who believes this was an enforcement error needs their head examined. These kinds of so called enforcement errors occur all of the time, and across most of the major platforms. I’ve had several top comments on here that had hundreds of upvotes on them removed, even though they did not violate any of the posting rules. I believe the moderators do not even read the content. They only base their decision on how many complaints about the comment they get, so if you present an argument the leftist don’t like they simply mark you comment as hostile or threatening.
They should be Testifying in Federal Court at Zuckerberg’s Anti-Trust Hearing, where he would be facing Life in Prison and certain Bankruptcy if those laws were Applied Equally..

Exactly what I thought - hilarity should ensue, especially when they start calling out those congressmen individually for their total failure in holding Zuckerberg to account.
It’s funny. They complain about Facebook censorship, yet there are plenty of places where conservatives censor, ban or otherwise don’t allow voices that disagree with whoever is running the forums. My understanding is Diamond and Silk moderate and remove what they find offensive comments (I’m sure some are but others are just opposition) on their page. Hannity has a forum that’s moderated with comments removed as does Lucianne and others.
