The Silence of the Republican Lambs on Ronny Jackson, the Roaring Economy, and More
American Thinker ^ | May 2, 2018 | Brian C. Joondeph

What a week for President Trump! We have North and South Korea making peace, with the North promising to give up its nukes – something unimaginable for past administrations, those filled with diplomatic wizards like Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, and John Kerry. This announcement is on the heels of a successful state visit by French president Emmanuel Macron and Mike Pompeo's confirmation as secretary of state.

The economy is humming along with record low unemployment, particularly benefiting blacks and Hispanics, in a way that Democrat policies never allowed for. Rap superstar Kanye West, much to the dismay of the left, came out of the liberal closet and proclaimed himself a Trumpster. Left-wing MSNBC hack Joy Reid, after the discovery of her past Twitter musings, can't decide if she was a homophobe years ago when it wasn't one of the third rails of liberal politics, allowing the left another opportunity to eat one of its own, or else make silly excuses for her homophobia.

Democrats and the media parrot the same dishonest talking points continually.

Republicans remain silent or else attack fellow Republicans. They go on TV and defend Mueller. They pass unconstitutional legislation forbidding Trump from firing Mueller.

They give in on the budget. They refuse to defend Trump accomplishments. They allow good men to be slandered and say absolutely nothing.

Why are Republicans being so silent, so weak and so cowardly?

A once in a generation opportunity to advance a conservative agenda is being squandered.

It appears that there are only a couple of Conservatives in Washington. A once in a generation opportunity squandered indeed.

The House GOP must love the idea of Speaker Pelosi, because they sure seem to be working to make that happen.

“A once in a generation opportunity to advance a conservative agenda is being squandered.”

You can say that again. What an outrage.

If the Republicans lose the House and/or the Senate it will be their fault. They will attempt to pin it on the President, but it won’t fly (to those paying attention at least).

Where are the Republican voices, when Diamond and Silk were testifying over the issue of Freedom of Speech, with three of the Democratic representatives openly wishing they were somewhere else, then to listen to two black American women??

Two black American women, I might add, that has stood at the podium, in front of the cameras, proclaiming their support for President Trump.

Two black American women that HAD TO TESTIFY UNDER OATH, whereas, the manipulator of their Freedom of Speech, Zuckerberg, DID NOT!!

Because the democrats and republicans are two sides of the same coin. Their actions (and inactions) speak volumes.

The biggest mistake for conservatives is to assume that the republican party is on their side, and share their views.

They are not, and they do not, share the same values as conservatives (except around election time).

Hence their silence and inaction to the socialist-democrat coup attempt.

If it wasn’t for Nunes, there wouldn’t be anyone defending Trump against Mueller’s witch hunt.

It’s like asking why the Washington Generals always lose to the Harlem Globetrotters...because they’re on the same team, and that’s how the script has been written.

Our elected representatives are just the political version of professional wrestling.

Better question: where are the GOP primary challengers?

The most important thing to the GOP is keeping the Cheap Labor Express running.
Removing Trump is a bipartisan goal.
The Bush League Republicans just have to be cagier about it.

The Republican establishment has already bought the liberal media / inside the beltway conventional wisdom that they are doomed in November. They are chicken Little's, sitting in the bunker weeping and sucking their thumbs while they wait for the sky to fall on top of them, when actually the sky is clearing up and getting sunny. However, they risk making the conventional wisdom a self-fulfilling prophecy by acting like pathetic losers. Nobody wants to vote for a pathetic loser....

The Deplorables must find a way to support President Trump in his effort to drain the Swamp of spineless, gutless, power-hungry, amoral bottom-feeders from both Parties. Ideas anyone?

And, voter fraud has to be addressed and exposed before November. More ideas needed.

A good question? If the whipped cur Republicans had any sense, they would stick their heads out from their shell, and sense victory!

The bottom line is that where there is no guts & little sense, there is no future. Those cowed by the PC crowd--the specialists on Misdirection: Destructive Leftist Tactic--have lost the ability to recognize what actually does work for human betterment!

It is a sickening betrayal of the American future.

I never knew that testified under oath. The double standard just keeps doubling.

We need a divorce from the uniparty.

Diamond and Silk have so much dignity they were above it all - the people who should hang their heads in shame are members of the GOP ESTABLISHMENT.

The RAT party campaign adds in PA and NJ are disgusting: No ASSAULT weapons, Abortion RIGHTS and most importantly IMPEACH Trump. The PA GOP Governor Candidate add was average/vanilla ala Corbett from last time.

The rank-and-file pubbie doesn’t care. Unlike the rats, the Congressional GOP isn’t comfortable with power. Like the 40 year pre-Newt Gingrich congress, the typical Republican is satisfied with table scraps from the rats.

Typical of the wallflower pubbie congressman is mine from FL-2, Neal Dunn. While our republic hangs in the balance, he’s said nothing in defense of President Trump.

I want to know why Jackson stepped down as President’s physician. He gave a reason for removing his name for nomination. But why leave as Physician for President?
