Nothing new. This is a regular exercises which had gone on for many years, and it never bothered them. Don't take the bait. They will ask more and more. This is how they operate and some people never bothered to take a look at it.

You are correct but Kim initially said the exercises could go on, now he does not see things like that. He initially said he would denuclearize, now he thinks— not like Libya. Do you think there is a translation problem? Or is this more like a person saying “me no comprendo”?

What I think is that he is testing Trump to see if there is any “give” anywhere. The truth is that Moon is more on the spot than Trump. His meeting has been cancelled. Moon can renege on the exercises and Trump would have to go along. He could say that he needs more time to prepare for the meeting with Kim., But it still amounts to a back peddle.
