Real life me: Man, that's really cruel.
Internet me: ...giggle
It’s one thing to not like the movie, but for fans to take it out on the actors is ridiculous.
No idea who this famous person is.
I have no idea why this particular actress would be cast. Honestly, why?
That being said, I wouldn’t harass her about it, but I wouldn’t go see a movie with inexplicable casting decisions either.
Casting decisions are important.
Her attacker is identified as a “right-wing” person on her Wikipedia page.
I actually liked her in the movie. She was a reasonably good actress, believable character.
Instagram is as much of a sewer as Twitter. You could get racist rants and death threats simply by posting a picture of a puppy or a kitten.
“Fans” need to understand that actors aren’t real. They are only puppets. Somebody else is pulling their strings and putting the words in their mouth.
You actually become stronger and better when you rise above the judgement of a few narrow-minded or mean people.
You can choose not to be a victim.
Is she the gal that looks like “Pat” from SNL and Edna Mode had a love child, and the one that made gravity work in outer space?
Getting an acting job, no matter the reason, is a one in a million shot. If she refrains from obtaining a high horse & preaching from it, I wish her the best.
I don’t agree with harassing this person, but her character and acting were indeed aweful.
However, I think that the role was a stinker, and doubt even a great actress could have sold it.
lose the baby fat
I don’t think she shut it down for harassment. It may be as part of a non-disclosure agreement so that she doesn’t spoil the next film.
