“There will be no reveals...because there has been no build-up.”

There has been a build up. General Sessions has attested to his Congressional oversight in writing that all of their referrals, and more, are being handled by senior federal prosecutors (note the plural) - at the very least since last November. He stated that he placed US Attorney John Huber to lead the effort, citing his past success in leading task forces. (Tip: A task force of multiple US Attorneys is kind of a big deal)

Each of the 93 Senior Federal Prosecutors (also called US Attorneys) were nominated by President Trump, Congressionally confirmed, and vested under the Constitution with the independent power to convene Grand Juries, initiate search warrants, and to issue subpoenas and indictments.

US Attorneys also have a legal duty to prosecute, when they have cause to believe crimes were committed, unless they have a legal reason for deferring prosecution, like insufficient resources, or to protect another investigation (also note that General Sessions assured Congress that they were fully resourced).

Each US Attorney has a large staff - typically hundreds of Assistant US Attorneys (prosecutors), as well as investigators and admin personnel. The “build up” has been assigning a virtual army of prosecutorial assets - at a bare minimum since November 17, 2017 (which DoJ confirmed in writing), but likely many were working in August and some number prior to that. So if Sessions has been asleep or deep state, the rest of these prosecutors (nominated by the President) must also be, for nothing to really be happening.

When James Wolfe (Senate Intelligence Committee staffer) was indicted a couple of weeks ago for leaking, it was revealed that the US Attorney for D.C, Jessie K. Liu, had executed a search warrant against his reporter mistress, not later than February 2018, which would have required previously convening a Grand Jury to get the search warrant.

James Wolfe himself had been forced to resign in December 2017, when confronted with the results of prior surveillance against him, which likely also required a warrant from a Grand Jury (which likely adds months of lead time). Wolfe himself was likely a cooperating witness from December onward, while investigation proceeded against other subjects.

A lot of “build up” preceded Wolfe’s indictment on 7 June. That is how professional investigations go - no public confirmation until there are indictments issued, which then become public records, and prosecutions are public proceedings.

Big arrests and indictments will do the most good in September and October.

“Does revocation of a secret clearance imply a career ending event for law enforcement?”

Imply - certainly it does. I think it would be exceptional in this case (a senior guy in a highly classified counterintelligence position) for there to be anywhere for him to go except out.

Pulling a clearance indicates a serious issue, so more often than not, there will be other actions like firing, demotion or even possibly prosecution. As a minimum, without a clearance, you can’t do jobs that require a clearance - which Strzok’s did.

He seems doomed for bigger troubles than just loss of clearance and career prospects.

“Wait. What?!

Jeff said something other than zzzzzz.”

Exactly what I was thinking. Hey Jeff, how about taking back control of the DOJ and can Rosenstein.

He still has a job because government employees can be compelled to testify without the need for a subpoena.

I'm with you - this is a win.

#19. Thank you for your statement. I’ve been trying to tell my wife that if the govt fires you, you might not be subject to internal discipline but if you are still an employee, even if on “leave”, you are subject to their jurisdiction.

Here is a bit of intelligence:

Jeff Sessions apparently has been in the Senior Executive Service since 1988 - along with most of the inner circle of the coup cabal. If you do not understand the sinister implications of that, then you are ignorant.

I weary of the credulity of persons who incessantly accuse those who have been observing the corruption in DC for decades of lacking intelligence.

Jeff Sessions could have uttered truths about the Marxist Muslim from the Senate floor at any time while he was there - just as Harry Reid uttered lies about Mitt Romney: The Senate floor is inviolate from any legal reprisal. Like all his fellows, he chose to remain the silent non-assassin.

He still has a job because government employees can be compelled to testify without the need for a subpoena. Firing him right now is dumb.

LOL. Same was said about Page. Then she retired, too. Might want to revise your analysis. He still has a job because there is no will in the Deep State to reform the FBI. Sorry.

Much has been made, in way of excuses, of sessions refusing to discuss ongoing investigation(s). That means in this case that Strzok is no longer under investigation. Sessions is crossing t’s and dotting i’s and still commenting on cases. Maybe he is unaware of Strzob’ actions. Most likely just running interference!

More likely Magoo is just freelancing and throwing some red meat to the MAGA base to take the heat off himself.
