You might be missing my point. Everyone has a Gd given right to life. There has never been humanity without murder and I doubt there ever will be. Laws against murder are on every book. Abortion is one type of murder. So I am not wrong after all. Legislation doesn’t stop murder and it won’t stop abortion. It is far easier to abort someone unknown to the world, quietly, in a doc’s office, than to make your mother in law, say, disappear. People might just notice she’s gone.

I hope not also BUT my gut tells me that with Karl Rove and ALL the Bushies SO THRILLED that WE are in for a disappointment. Trump LOVES a good fight just don’t understand WHY he wouldn’t take up this fight and DRIVE his base, AND evangelicals to the polls in the midterms to secure a larger senate!!! Trump HAS the people behind him, evangelicals came out in droves to elect him, the SC is a HUGE issue for them AND our base why on earth would he think he HAD TO settle for a SWAMP CREATURE that could possibly turn out to be another Roberts!!!!
Would be nice someday to not have to fight the media, Democrats, liberals in the GOP, etc, etc, etc every inch of the way on the simplest of things. It’s a SCOTUS nominee - are they able to fulfill the basics of the position? Rubber stamp it and move on. Don’t like it? Win the White House next time.
But no, it’ll be a hard grueling fight with GOP’ers leading the charge to sink a well qualified candidate. Somedays, you just wanna see if a brick can break the stupid barrier.
Trump is playing 3D chess.
He knows that the looney left will go berzerk over anyone he nominates; by nominating a non-Roe.v.Wade "fanatic" he *AGAIN* lets the Dems hang themselves with the uninformed casual voter that they're crazy.
And, he has the academic chops to satisfy anyone ;
And, he was kinda hinted to have been retiring-Justice-Kennedy's choice, and has been around DC a long time. He's "acceptable" to the swamp; so that we might get NoName or Murkowski or Collins on board, even if we lose Paul; and it still keeps the pressure on Red-State Senators up for re-election without giving them an easy out.
Finally, since I mentioned the 2nd Amendment, he is acting as a blocking factor for when President Trump leaves after his 2nd term, making it that much harder to overturn the 2nd by fraud.
...and, once the left has shot themselves in the foot, and the GOP has picked up 4-6 more Senate seats, he can then nominate Ann Coulter or Barrett to replace RBG (and presumably one other lib inJustice will step down as well).

So, we at FreeRepublic.com analyzed and criticized Ws judicial nominees. He had plenty of good ones, some bad. We shot down Harriet Miers and got sammy Alito. Bush appt. is not a scarlett letter.

Every SCOTUS nominee has said that since 1973. For the Conservative nominees, it's a necessary lie. I trust President Trump and that means I'm sure Kavanaugh would vote to overrule Roe.
