In todays hothouse environment of toxic politics, rarely do we see such an opportunity for bipartisan cooperation. Despite numerous warnings from within their own ranks, several Democratic representatives in the House are moving forward with a bill to abolish Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). The Abolish ICE bill is the work of Wisconsin Congressman Mark Pocan and is being co-sponsored by Pramila Jayapal of Washington and Adriano Espaillat of New York. All three are Democrats.

If I was Paul Ryan I would allow a floor vote on this bill so Democrats are on record voting to abolish ICE.
Good.
I want them to be on the record voting for open borders.
Exactly, make them put up or shut up..........................
ICE doesn’t do the border, the BP does the border. Sheesh.
Exactly. Good idea. Make ‘em show their hand.
Tie an amendment to abolish FBI.
After reading these headlines, thousands more immediately fled from the dark Democrat Party pit of evil and decadence to the Light of the Trump Revolution!
“so Democrats are on record voting to abolish ICE.”
Or voting against abolition, and offending their base.
THATS the agency that needs abolished and I think this whole tack is to still draw attention away from that fact.
Pass it in the house and then let the red state senators take a stand. Won’t work. Waste of the peoples time.
Suicide run.
I say “go for it, dems!!!!”
We all know what Napoleon said about your enemy making a mistake.
Somehow I don't think this statement conveys what the author intended.
That aside, heck yeah - give 435 Republicans something to run on this Fall. Thankyouverymuch.
LOL, better check their birth certificates.
So these three democrats that want to end ICE are in favor of sex trafficking? human trafficking? Slave trafficking? Yes or no dems its an easy question!
Get out of their way!
I don’t think the D’s have had to deal with an R that actually fights back and calls them on their lunacy. At least not in recent memory.
Their “election cycle issue” is an issue for illegals that don’t vote and they don’t represent. They are doubling down on the stupid and can’t seem to stop.
I suppose in the old days, when you had CNN and Dan Rather on your side, you were golden. That train left the station ten years ago.
i.e. this is gonna be fun.
The dems are getting more reckless, which highlights their growing desperation.
The article says this is an “opportunity for bipartisan cooperation”. I personally do not think the GOP reps are going to be very cooperative on this issue, and I hope to not be disappointed.
