If you haven't seen this, I highly recommend watching this all-time greatest in terms of watching Schumer (and other tools) not be able to say a WORD, while someone launches a verbal f-you at him.
Suzanna Gratia Hupp schools Chuck Schumer et al on the meaning of 2nd Amendment
Go to 2:41 and 2:45 for his stupid mug, and then to 5:08 for the big f-you.
McCain probably won’t be voting and it is looking like he won’t need to - nonetheless, he has already voiced strong support for his confirmation.
Could be - they would alienate the majority of the voters by opposing him, and alienating base votes they would need by voting for him.
Lying by omission is one of the most effective forms of lying to get the listener to draw a false conclusion even though everything stated may have been technically correct.
On the way home from work the other day, the network news on the radio reported in their little snippet: “Although Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell blocked one of former President Obama’s picks for the Supreme Court, he now says it would be wrong for Democrats to do the same for one of President Trump’s Supreme Court picks.” That is hardly a complete picture, to say the least.
McCain will vote yes. He’s already knocking on the gates of hell and is internally fighting not to go there. For McCain, voting yes for Kavanaugh is his own redemption.
RBG seems to have found miracle cancer cures but could reappear?
The Dems are going to be badly damaged whether the endangered red-state Dem Senators vote for Kavanaugh or not. If they vote ‘No’, then their chances of losing their seats and increasing the GOP Senate majority increases; if they vote ‘Yes’, then the lunatic “resisters” the Dems have been nurturing and encouraging for two years are going to go berserk, endangering the Dems by either not voting out of spite, or making such a spectacle of themselves that other voters will be turned off ...
“I believe McCains proxy already said he would vote for Kavanaugh.”
there’s no such thing as a “proxy” vote in the U.S. Senate, AND all votes have to be made in person by the Senators themselves IN the Senate chamber ...
Swing states? Could go either way - but a lot of them are not swing states (Indiana, ND, WV, etc)
Truth be known, No matter what Nelson chooses to do, he will be defeated massively by Rick Scott!! End of story!!!
Hope so. His seat is certainly the most vulnerable since he has been there.
