Another article today mentioned that there’s a high threat of a cholera epidemic in San Francesspool.
And ?
I was born there. I’d like to go back before I leave this world, but in its current state it will be a cold day in Arizona before I return.
Authentic Old West = San Francisco
No s—t?
Well, I guess there was too much s—t.
I believe tourism is down too. Saw a blurb a day or so ago on a hotel concern that was, well... concerned.
Street folks aren’t showering. They stink. Tourists aren’t too thrilled about the rank smells.
There’s trash piled up too.
San Fran is spending a pretty penny per capita on these folks too. One wonders why they are still on the street.
I believe the figure was withing a couple thousand dollars of $40k per year, per homeless person.
Maybe he is a mime?
dang, not even a bathroom issue to cancel, just take a dump in the street.
San Francisco is so ahead of the times.
Michael Savage for some reason likes being there, but complains 5-10 minutes at a time about the savagery and intolerably unsanitary conditions of the hiv laden syringes and excrement and agitated derelicts lunging at people.
Mark Levin when callers complain of their own misery in San Francisco or elsewhere, always says: “That’s your own fault. Move. I’m serious, move out if you live in a liberal cesspool. Stop complaining. “
It is not so easy for most people to leave. Hard enough to get a career or job going as it is. Then to start as the new kid on the block in middle age? Forget it.
Another coincedence: the source (KPIX is the same for both.
A real Mike Stone type wouldn’t let that slide when adults ran SF.
With people living on the streets, it is a possibility. SF is not alone in that regard, many cities are grappling with homeless encampments.
A quarter-century ago I was working at some high-rises in Civic Center on Market Street. After leaving the building to walk across to a parking lot in the rear I would often see a few rats running from dumpsters out back. The parking lots are long gone, built up with new high-rise towers. But all the dumpsters for buildings remain, and so do the rats.
People and filth on the streets combined with rats are not a good combination.
San Fran Shithole
There is NO excuse.
Well I did not see this story until posted today
so I am GLAD it was posted today
