This reflects everything that is wrong with the Republican party. Some misguided fear of a non-issue and a desire to get rid of Trump. So they disregard the interests of America. If they are so tough on Putin, how can it hurt America to meet with him and demonstrate that?
I think the portion of the GOP which is “tough” on Russia, is sold out to China.
