Good list. I don’t think Cronkite belongs on it though. I don’t think he had as much influence as many think. There are many many more who are more worthy of inclusion. John McCain, Al Gore are two that quickly come to mind. McCain for his treason and Gore for the global warming hysteria for example.
Yea, but the American people actually believed that Cronkite was always “telling it like it is.” “That’s the way it is”, his sound-off greeting, was often that’s the way it isn’t. And he was a hard-core leftist for sure.
Pop- culture icons Timothy Leary and Ken Kesey certainly deserve some “credit” for their corrosive influence on American youth.
Cronkite does belong in this list. He was the original Fake News scumbag from the git go.
believe me chronkite belongs on that listhe turned america against the war and gave rise to the anti war movement.his fbi fole will never be released because it will show bim as member of the acp.right alomg with teddy kennedy
Cronkite was a tireless cheerleader for the North Vietnamese army, especially during the Tet offensive. Thousands of decent young Americans, including some of my upper classmates, lie mouldering in their graves due to Cronkite’s tireless propagandizing.
