Why did Rush laugh initially, like this is a joke?

Rush has always complained that he never had the President he wanted in his 30 years. So Trump is doing all the things he wanted, and there's some hesitation there.

You must have watched a different interview. Rush seemed totally floored and flattered by the call. If anything, I thought Rush came off like he had a man-crush on the President.

His staff just told him he had a call he would want to take immediately. They didn’t tell him it was Trump. He was surprised, that’s why he laughed.
