The West Hollywood City Council on Monday evening voted unanimously to remove President Donald Trumps Walk of Fame Star.
The resolution calls on both the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce and City of Los Angeles to remove President Trumps the star due to his disturbing treatment of women and other actions.
The West Hollywood City Council did not pass the resolution because Donald Trump is a conservative or a Republican, said West Hollywood Mayor Pro Tem John DAmico in a statement to The Wrap. Earning a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame is an honor. When one belittles and attacks minorities, immigrants, people with disabilities or women the honor no longer exists.
The resolution comes after twenty-four-year-old Austin Clay of Glendale was charged in Los Angeles Monday with one felony count of vandalism for allegedly smashing President Trumps star. Prosecutors say Clay took a pickaxe to the star on Hollywood Boulevard on July 25. The star recognized President Trump for his work on the TV reality show The Apprentice. Clay could face up to three years in jail if convicted.
The star was previously vandalized by James Otis with a sledgehammer and pickax days before the November 2016 election. Otis pleaded no contest to the felony and was sentenced to community labor and ordered to pay $4,400 for the damage.

Didn’t the city say at one time that they would never remove a star?
I don’t know?
Typical Hollywood hypocrites, “do as we say not as we do”.
Who owns the rights to Trump’s Star?
Is it Trump, is it a production company?
violence works?
I have no idea?
In this instance yes.
Trump derangement syndrme taken to the next level. I honestly believed the left always thought Trump was one of them until this past election. They are treating him like a family member who has defected. That is why they are so vicious with him.
West Hollywood is a separate city. The walk of Fame is in the Hollywood neighborhood of Los Angeles. West Hollywood has no jurisdiction over the stars on the sidewalk. This is purely a symbolic vote by a liberal enclave in the LA area.
It has worked since the dawn of time.
The first and greatest of all the Playground Rules is: “Fists win more arguments than words EVER will.”
The Council can vote all it wants. This is a National Historic Monument and the Chamber of Commerce has already stated that they will NOT remove the stars of Bill Crosby, Kevin Spacey and Donald Trump due to the monument status.
Yeah, right.
Racist!! But then, why would any conservative want their star there? If it was 0bama’s star they’d hold sanctification services there all the time.
You never see THAT reported.
Imagine that!
The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce has received inquiries asking whether we are planning to remove the stars of Walk of Famers because of alleged misconduct. The answer is no, said Leron Gubler, Hollywood Chamber of Commerce president and CEO.
The Hollywood Walk of Fame is a registered historic landmark. Once a star has been added to the Walk, it is considered a part of the historic fabric of the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Stars are awarded for professional achievement to the world of entertainment and contributions to the community. A celebritys politics, philosophy, irrational behavior, or outrageous remarks have never been cause to remove a Walk of Fame star, he said.

Johnny Grant is spinning in his Grave.
The Walk of Fame should be limited to Communists, hedonists, homosexuals, and Narcissists. Did I miss anyone?
I’ll go out on a limb here, but I don’t think that President Trump is losing a lot of sleep over this.
As compared to Roman Polanski? Harvey Weinstein? Or a hundred other such examples?
Apparently, vandalism DOES pay.
