The body of missing college student Mollie Tibbetts was found Tuesday, two sources told Fox News, bringing an end to an intensive search that lasted more than a month and captured national headlines.
A law enforcement source told Fox News the body was found in Iowa, but more specific details about the location were not released.

A friend of mine died from a "bump". She was snowmobiling with family/friends and tried to get past a pickup truck that was blocking the trail head. The machine slid down to the truck, trapping her leg. I don't remember if it was enough to break the bone, but they'd gone to the emergency room to be sure, she was in quite a bit of pain.
She didn't live through the day. She died in the emergency room, not too long after complaining of a bad headache.
A blood clot formed in her leg as a result of the injury, and then moved to a more dangerous place.

And, it would be easier on her family & friends if this WERE wrapped up quickly.
Just read the other day that Scott Peterson (killer of wife Laci and unborn baby boy) has been on Death Row for 14 years already. I hope every MINUTE is unbearable for him!

Here’s another thing.......I keep reading on this thread that the boyfriend has been cleared, that it’s a two hour drive from where he was at, that he had been seen by many around the hour of her death.
I read everything on an active true crime and I read nothing about any of this. I do remember some vague reference to a job far away.
But I did not read anything about either the boyfriend or the pig farmer taking a lie detector test.
Makes me scratch my head.

I’ve been saying this forever.
Since 2009, hit-and-run fatalities are up 60 percent, the report finds, rising faster than overall traffic deaths. Hit-and-runs now account for a greater share of all traffic fatalities than at any time in the past 12 years. Only about half of hit-and-run drivers who kill are later identified.
The authors aren’t sure why fatal hit-and-runs are rising, but as with the general upward trend in traffic deaths, they suspect distracted driving is a factor.
