Democratic National Committee members adopted language to their charter and rules Saturday to include gender self-identification and gender nonbinary members. The new wording amends the party's charter requirement that all committees and like bodies be divided equally between men and women to account for members who don't identify with either gender.
The language now says committees "shall be as equally divided as practicable between men and women (determined by gender self-identification) meaning that the variance between men and women in the group cannot exceed one (1)."
Gender nonbinary members will not be counted as either male or female, "and the remainder of the delegation shall be equally divided."

If they have a meeting and only men or only women or only...show up, can they just ask a couple to be the other gender for a day, and leave a couple the way they came in and tell the rest they have to be neither for a day?

LOL. Yep we’ve been told recently we have to talk about the front hole, because to talk of identifiable genitalia for either sex is somehow discriminatory. So if we say front hole, then there’s no discrimination over issues of which sex or any individual has downstairs.
God what a crazy works we are devolving into.
The 2020 convention could be revealing in some ways.
Recall the 2012 convention when the Democrats voted out mention of God??
2020 could well bring out this transsexual business front and center, along with socialism .

There you have it. Gender nonbinary members don’t count, according to the Democrats. In fact, they are not even human according to their platform. At least the Democrats counted blacks as 3/5 human before Republicans freed the slaves.
This is where quotas take you.

Otoh, it may mean anyone can vote twice, once for man, once for women. If so, then we lose.
Some delegates will have frontholes, some delegates will not. Simple.
