I didn’t see a sarc tag on your post. You do know the rule you cite has been watered down with many exceptions over the years. I seriously doubt it could be used in this case. If they tried then Bruce will end up holding the “death penalty bag”. Nellie will not be executed but will spend the rest of her life in prison.
They likely already know the answers to the questions being asked. Either she can cop to it and cooperate, or she can not cooperated and take more weight than she’s already facing.
The idea is to get it into the record.
The evidence is both compete, and tels compelling history of involvement,and wil suffice to prosecute without testifying.
