For a man who never held political office, I think Trump is the most politically astute president we’ve had since Reagan.
For what it’s worth, Carter, Obama and Hillary Clinton were the most unattuned people ever to reach high office.
He may regret not declassifying the FISA docs sooner. He is oddly reluctant to fire people within his own executive branch or to take action to protect himself. He talks and tweets about it but appears disinclined to take action. Strange.
No matter how the cooks flip it, Russiagate is a big nothingburger. What was the so called “collusion” about? To find a better way to run foreign relations with Russia? The problem is purely political.
