there is a difference between “stupid, boorish and disgusting” and “criminal”. Most drunk guys don’t rape women.
Being drunk is not an excuse for physical or sexual assault. Suggesting that it is opens up the table for all sorts of bad behavior.
If the story was one of “he didn’t stop quickly enough when I asked him to”, I could chalk that up to being drunk and not comprehending; but no woman should have to be near a drunk person who would assume they could rip her clothes off.

When she lies, bring in witnesses with personal or even hearsay information to establish her character.
The more comments I read on FR the less shocked I am that the left wins.

I wouldn’t ask most of those questions.
I would ask if she had the name of any other person at the party.
I would ask if she had the name of any person she told about what happened within the first year after it happened.
I would ask if she had the name of any other person who could testify to her naming either of the two men, before 2012.
If anybody objects, say that you want to take the allegations seriously, and are looking for anybody else who could lend credence to the claim.
Nobody needs to make her look bad, or “win an argument with her”. If the end facts are her statement, and the statements of BK, and the witness Mr. Judge, most people will realize you can’t hang a person on such a thin reed.
And the republicans can make speeches about how, having seen how little evidence there was, they understand why the democrats were so reluctant to even bring it up, and for good measure wonder why they haven’t done more with the overwhelming evidence of Keith Ellison assaulting two women.

I was in the same class as “Chrissie” Blasey (1984). She went to Holton Arms–the sister school to my school, Landon School for Boys. She was well known for her sexual escapades, some of them quite disturbing.... Like the famous “bj” car where in the back of a darkened station wagon she .... on multiple young men. Or the time she took on most of the football team. Her nickname was Chrissie Blowsey–
I’ll leave it at that. She was also a very manipulative and vindictive person. So we all need to take her allegations with more than a grain of salt. she was a knock-down, drag-out slut all through High School. I know–I was there, graduated in the same Class of 1984. So how can we trust her?

Yeah, this is all easy for me. I never was invited to a party, never went to a party. I had my first alcohol in college, by myself, just to see what getting drunk was like.
In the 1980s did any Kennedy own a house in Maryland next to a country club? I mean doesn’t it just have to have been a Kennedy as it sounds so Kennedy-esque.
Keep in mind, both his parents were judges, and they probably cross-examined him when he went out at night. He may have been pretty straight laced.

I do believe people need to prove his guilt, he doesn’t need to prove his innocence.

I was invited to one party. Kept pouring the beer out when no one was looking. I still hate beer taste. When it got time to head home everyone else was drunk so I drove the old standard transmission vehicle home. If they weren’t sick before we left the party with the jerking and stopping they were when we got back to campus. Was never invited to another beer party I remember no ones (including my dates) name.
You guys spend way too much time arguing this thing based on logic. Democrats advertise among their own activists using money and fame to find people willing to do this. She’s a party member. That’s it.
