All they want is a delay. They don’t want her to testify. They want to delay. They just need to get to January. If there can be an investigation or they can find someone else to come forward, that will hold things up and they can stall for a few months.
Chris Wray needs to hold a press conference tomorrow. Announce that the FBI has investigated the matter, and looks forward to analyzing her testimony Monday. After which they will release a full report, and make the necessary recommendations to DOJ for prosecution.
She’ll wet her pants and hide in the closet. That will be the end of this story, and a strong deterrent to any future glory-seeking bimbo.
FBI does not do that sort of criminal investigation.
My guess is that Kevin “Ponce” de Leon is moving up in the polls against DiFi. Back in July, after the primaries, the early line was DiFi by 20 or so. Hence, there was no need to “prove” her bona fides to the Socialists that have taken over the Democrat party, especially in CA.
Now, the polls are probably tightening (unable to find anything), so DiFi has to show the lunatic Left fringe that she’s as “progressive” as Ponce. How better than to scuttle a Trump judicial nomination using the American version of “J’Accuse”?

I totally agree with you. If Ms. Blowsy doesn’t show up, Judge Kavanaugh shouldn’t even dignify this accusation by responding.
