Two defining moments have arisen this week:
1) The GOP has to get Kananaugh to the finish line without further delays and perversion of the approval process. Permitting Democrats to derail the nomination of a highly qualified and honorable candidate will set a terrible precedent. The GOP often caves, but caving on this matter would be disastrous for them and the country.
2) Trump drew a red line when he ordered the immediate release of the declassified documents. Defying that order is subversion that cannot be tolerated. To do so would be tantamount to approving the existence of a fourth branch of government.
Failure in either case is not an option. Neither the GOP controlled senate or the president can afford this kind of devastating loss of credibility. Both must stand tall and do what’s right. There is no other alternative.

That horse left the barn a long time ago. The dems have been doing this smear sh!t since Bork. None of this crap should have been surprising to grassley or mcconnell. The fact that they have let this circus go on tells you everything you need to know about those 2 #scum.
Item #2 is paramount. If Trump fails in making those declassified docs public, the republic is pretty much finished. If item #1 fails, Trump can nominate even a stronger conservative.
