Report: Grassley Accepts Kavanaugh Accuser’s Demand to Testify Thursday

This charade is starting to remind me of a memorable scene in one of my amateur hockey games some years ago.

We were playing a team that was very good, but had a couple of players who were absolute A-holes. They were aggressive bullies and had their way for a while. Then one of them picked a fight with our best player. Unbeknownst to the A-hole, our best player also happened to be a guy who had played junior hockey in Canada and could really handle himself in a fight on skates.

Within about 10 seconds the fight was so lopsided that the poor A-hole was standing there getting hammered by punches with his jersey pulled over his head like this:

At that point I heard my teammate say to the guy: "Put your hands down and stop flailing so they can break up this fight, would ya? I'm embarrassed for you."

The A-hole immediately slumped to his knees, where his teammates helped him put himself back together before the two combatants skated to the locker rooms.

LMAO.

I think this is where Ford's legal team is right now. They dropped the gloves and started fighting, and they realize that they're embarrassing the hell out of themselves.

It will be fascinating to watch this play out. Everybody is so used to Republicans meekly submitting Democrat demands that the possibility of them actually utilizing an ingenious stategy is almost...

There’s a rumor about that, but I believe it was debunked. She can’t possibly testify after doing an interview on national TV. Her testimony will conflict with her TV appearance many, many times.

Weakness is a negative, perceived weakness is a negative, getting drug around by this nonsense is weakness, the longer this goes(if they don’t vote this week he will not be confirmed, because remember most people are stupid(marketing works) the less likely Kavanaugh is confirmed, and a guarantee a loss of the Senate.

Politics is just like sports winning creates enthusiasm, losing depression or in this case depressed voting.

I now fear that is the goal of Grassley to get Trump.

That's why the GOP needs to make sure she and her legal team are the ones who are showing themselves to be making the most preposterous demands ... while the GOP concedes on all the silly demands that don't mean anything in the long run (like who really gives a sh!t how many cameras or reporters are in the room? LOL).

Look for hints of several things to happen over the next few days if this testimony keeps getting delayed:

1. "Red state" Democrats who are getting increasingly embarrassed by this charade start putting pressure behind the scenes on their leadership to put a stop to it.

2. The media report that Christine Buzzy Ford is experiencing medical issues that require her to postpone her testimony indefinitely.

Many of us are assuming that she will look bad in testifying. Why? All she has to do is say whatever she wants, and all of the politicians and media will say that she is “very credible.” That will be their favorite phase. The RINOs will join the chorus.
