I suspect the NYT printed the article just to change the subject from Christine Buzzy Ford's unraveling story.

The NYT has been sitting on this story for months, waiting for the moment when they needed to change the subject from another story that was undermining the Democrats. See my last post on this point.
Since McCabe gains nothing either way but Rosenstein benefits big time by denying it, I lean towards beleiving McCabe.
Of course he was. The joke was that Russia probably had them because Hillary was so ridiculously inept that she left them out, unsecured for the taking. That the left has twisted that into a pretext to pursue impeachment of him is remarkable (not that they’d do it, that they can get anyone in America to go along with it. We are that far gone.
I get the distinct impression that once he is fired or convinced to resign, Rosenstein is going to be every bit as vengeful and angry as McCabe. I’ve seen two Rod Rosensteins, one who wears a Cheshire Cat’s broad smile most seen with sneaky and the very smug, then the other Rod Rosenstein, who pushes back hard, confronts directly and becomes red in the face from his barely concealed rage.
I can easily imagine Jeff Sessions being intimidated into a meek silence of complicity by a hired subordinate who acted that way.
Jeff is being barked at both by Trump and Rosenstein.
The only problem I have is that the NY Times leaked the story, that makes it incredibly suspect in my mind. Smart to go slow on this one to see what really shakes out
I think Trump already has a date for Rosenstein’s (and Sessions’) termination. The Times, publishing this story will not effect Trump’s timetable for “removing the stink”.
Someone better be monitoring Rosenstein’s computers and phones. Bet he’s already download all our top secret stuff and dispersed it to our enemies.
Mueller’s probe will never be over.

When the FISA unredacted documents are released RR will have to resign, not necessary for Trump to fire him. Documents will show a serious conflict of interest.
Mueller will also go away shorty after documents are released, they illustrate his whole investigation is a sham.
Yes I think after mid-terms he will be fired. Lisa Page stated under oath she believes Rosenstein wasn’t kidding.
Rosenstein should resign.
Mueller should resign and take his Dem attorneys with him.
