Doesn’t matter. One day after midterms, he is gone.
Yep. Fire him and get him talking about the others.
That is enough right there.
FIRE HIM!!!!
If this Kavanaugh lynching as expected backfires on the Democrats on election day, Rosenstein will be fired. He is the plug that prevents the swamp from draining. It will be interesting to see the vile creatures writhing in the muck.
Who first leaked this story, and why?
this shouldn’t be Trump’s choice - Sessions should be the one taking action.
On principle, he should have been fired long ago. I realize politics is the driving factor but its nonetheless unseemly to see someone this corrupt still on the government payroll wielding power as the defacto attorney general. Its an insult to the taxpayers of this country and those who believe in some semblance of accountability.
If Trump were to get rid of everybody the Times will have accused of trying to undermine him, he will destroy his Presidency himself.
That Rosenstein lasted into the weekend suggests Trump is giving him benefit of the doubt, his hatred of NYT is greater than his distrust of Rosenstein.
Rod Rosenstein is an Obama holdover. That’s all you need to know. Obama holdovers are presumptively corrupt and MUST BE REMOVED.
DRAIN THE SWAMP!!!
Trump was being sarcastic whenhe joked whether we were more likely to see Hillary’s scrubbed emsils from a Russian leak than our own Federal goverment responding to requests into government corruption and Freedom of Information Act requests.
I think Rosensteins account is probably closer. The NYT is trying to bait Trump into firing Rosenstein. I do think he should be fired for other things hes done but not before the election.
Trump’s waiting for the elections then he will fire Rod, maybe Sessions too.
People who write stuff like this must think Trump is an idiot.
That newspaper is a pile of horsesh!t propaganda, people. Wake up.
I suspect the NYT printed the article just to change the subject from Christine Buzzy Ford's unraveling story.
Since McCabe gains nothing either way but Rosenstein benefits big time by denying it, I lean towards beleiving McCabe.
I get the distinct impression that once he is fired or convinced to resign, Rosenstein is going to be every bit as vengeful and angry as McCabe. I’ve seen two Rod Rosensteins, one who wears a Cheshire Cat’s broad smile most seen with sneaky and the very smug, then the other Rod Rosenstein, who pushes back hard, confronts directly and becomes red in the face from his barely concealed rage.
I can easily imagine Jeff Sessions being intimidated into a meek silence of complicity by a hired subordinate who acted that way.
Jeff is being barked at both by Trump and Rosenstein.
The only problem I have is that the NY Times leaked the story, that makes it incredibly suspect in my mind. Smart to go slow on this one to see what really shakes out
I think Trump already has a date for Rosenstein’s (and Sessions’) termination. The Times, publishing this story will not effect Trump’s timetable for “removing the stink”.
