FULL TITLE:

BOOM! Judge Kavanaugh to Provide Senate With Calendars From Summer of 1982 Showing He Was Out of Town Most of Summer!

======================================================================

Judge Brett Kavanaugh will provide the Senate with calendars from the summer of 1982 to back up his claims he was never at a party described by accuser Christine Ford.

Christine Ford has made an uncorroborated accusation that Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her decades ago at a drunken high school pool party that no one else, including the four people she claims were at the party, remembers.

Kavanaugh has categorically denied the allegations and told Senator Orin Hatch (R-UT) last week he wasn’t even at the party in question.

Brett Kavanaugh has calendars from the summer of 1982 showing he was out of town most of the summer vacation or with his parents.

The New York Times reported:

Judge Brett M. Kavanaugh has calendars from the summer of 1982 that he plans to hand over to the Senate Judiciary Committee that do not show a party consistent with the description of his accuser, Christine Blasey Ford, according to someone working for his confirmation.

The calendars do not disprove Dr. Blasey’s allegations, Judge Kavanaugh’s team acknowledged. He could have attended a party that he did not list. But his team will argue to the senators that the calendars provide no corroboration for her account of a small gathering at a house where he allegedly pinned her to a bed and tried to remove her clothing.

The calendars show, according to the person working for his confirmation, that he was out of town much of the summer at the beach or away with his parents. When he was at home, the calendars list his basketball games, movie outings, football workouts and college interviews. A few parties are mentioned but include names of friends other than those identified by Dr. Blasey.

A fourth alleged witness in Christine Blasey Ford’s alleged sexual assault accusations against Judge Brett Kavanaugh broker her silence Saturday night and denied the allegations.

Leland Ingham Keyser says she has no recollection of EVER BEING AT A PARTY with Brett Kavanaugh and does not know him.

Ms. Keyser is a lifelong friend of Christine Blasey Ford.

THERE ARE NO WITNESSES WHO HAVE CONFIRMED CHRISTINE BLASEY FORD’S ACCUSATIONS! NOT ONE!

Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley rescheduled the hearing for Thursday to hear testimony from Kavanaugh and Ford.

Christine Blasey Ford’s 11th hour “me too” ambush was a plot by Feinstein and the Democrats to derail Trump’s SCOTUS nominee Brett Kavanaugh.

Why not just elect the guy to the court and let the accusers hash it out in civil court? Let them tell a judge that they don’t want to testify first, or under oath...

Concur.

That’s all this has been about.

(Can someone ring the Republicans and tell them?)

Then pull aside the 3 potentially waffling republicans and get them in line.

I have my suspicions that there have been behind doors meetings between R leadership and these three. I fully expect them to do the right thing. Well, Flake is a little bit of a wild card.

So what the dems will do is look on the calendar, find a date when he says he was at a party, and activate whore #3 but tell her to change the date on her story.

“I wouldn’t produce them until she provided a date.”

Yes, you have to get her story under oath first.
Then you punch holes in it.

If you testify first, she will adjust her story.

He probably got into the calendar habit in order to keep up with school assignments and extended it to other parts of his life. Someone fairly serious about his future plans would likely do that. The article mentioned college interviews were included on his calendar. He would not have wanted to forget one of those, or to schedule one on a day when he was going to be out of town and have to reschedule. Making the best impression possible is (or was, back in the day) critical for getting into the school of one’s choice.

Or, as someone else said, once a nerd, always a nerd.

I also suspect that Kavanaugh was an ambitious young man. I told my son the other day that it would not surprise me to learn that appointment to the Supreme Court was one of his life’s goals. All the more reason to believe that he kept his nose pretty clean even as a high school student.

“He’s 17 and keeping a calendar?”

And he kept it? Seriously, he must have boxes of stuff he saved neatly etc and I totally get it, but many of us only have so many Ft Sq’d to store this stuff and de-clutter and heave-ho occurs. They must have a huge attic, G-d bless-um for that!

He is the male version of my wife. She could tell you where she was on April8, 1982 because it is in her book.

Exactly. I wouldn’t provide the Calendars. The libs will find ONE entry that can be found to be inaccurate and suddenly Brett K. will be the “liar”. Calendars require constant update (for me at least). Things get left off and changed and cancelled.

If there is something missing, or something they can prove wasn’t there, then the media and the libs will scream PROOF of GUILT! He lied about where he was 35 years ago.

Anal-retentive types do keep all their old calendars. They just can't bring themselves to throw them away. I have a sister who does this and her calendar provided me with some valuable information for a court case once.

Unfortunately Kavanaugh turned them over to the committee, I assume because they proved exculpatory. Now Feinstein will provide Ms. Fraud with an "open" date and magically she will now remember THAT was exactly when the alleged incident occurred.

There is nothing that stops these people.

“I would not be surprised if she didn’t testify on Thursday. “ Christine Blasey Ford will never testify under oath. It will NEVER happen

I agree. Their strategy all along was to delay and suspend the nomination process. They are now saying that because of these "multiple" accusations the nomination needs to be suspended.

Feinstein kept the existence of Christine Fordd’s letter a well guarded secret for two months. She only made it known that she had the letter after the confirmation hearings, when the Democrats failed to derail Judge Kavanaugh. Even then, she refused to share the letter with Republicans on the committee. That being the case, Democrats should not be allowed to see Kavanaugh’s documentation until after he testifies.

It’s not that he used one at 17. It’s that he still has it 35 years later?

It’s possible, but not bloody likely.

Maybe stashed away in his parents’ house; maybe they started looking for things. I do indeed still have cards and pen-pal letters from back then, just sitting in their dresser drawers and such. Not organized at all, just left there.

Of course, it’s possible this Ford lady was just “drunk” also, and doesn’t remember things rightly (as possible with the other attendees). Even if something DID happen, perhaps she was too “messed up” to really have known who it was. Mistaken identity?

Only if Grassley allows this charade circus to continue - Hearings Thursday, vote Thursday night.

The Dems have already stated that if Kavanaugh gets placed on the court, when they get power back, they will impeach and remove him.

“I wouldn’t provide the Calendars.”

Absolutely, don’t give these snakes any ammunition. Does anyone think facts or evidence matter to these animals?

Trump has been very smart not to release his tax returns for the same reason.

So what I keep hearing from Dick Durbin and other Democrats is why would Ford risk so much to make these accusations.

It is not their job to determine Ford's thinking. It is just their job to determine the truth.

does impeachment work the same way for judges as it does for Prez?

Will they have to have the house impeach and the senate 2/3rd vote for removal

“He’s 17 and keeping a calendar?”
___________________________________

My first thoughts exactly. No wonder he’s nominated to the SCOTUS and I’m not. On second thought, better him than me.

On third thought, I’m curious to see how a calendar (more than 30 years old!) can refute the apparently bogus charges.

In other news, I see by the Ford letter just released that she was on the East Coast on July 30 and returned to California by Aug. 7. Wondering if she made a drive of it. Or, you know, flew and only developed her fear of flying last week.
