New letter from Ford’s team to Grassley as obtained by WaPo ( Among other things, slam McConnell’s speech as “inconsistent” w/ Grassley approach, push back on hiring of “experienced sex crimes prosecutor” (whose identity they don’t know)
She will not show. Perjury charge is just not worth it.
Popcorn in one hand, pitchfork in the other.
If she testifies, she will have to do falsely, meaning her risk escalates from a defamation suit and possible minor jail sentence to a major jail sentence for perjury.
Based on her waffling to date, that escalation of risk looks like something she will go to significant lengths to continue to avoid.
She pretty much can’t take the stand as any cross-examination will ruin the plot.
Yes, most likely bailing. Kavanaugh just destroyed their narrative.

She is all about delay, has no intention of appearing. The hope is to delay until after midterms.

The prosecutor is a female and an expert at these types of cases.

Rush has said she won’t testify and we can take that to the bank. Looks like they’re setting up the bale now.
One fact about Kavanaugh that Dems cannot deny: he understands the law. Apparently, Ford, not so much. Couldn’t rely on Soros money for that.
She will never, ever be charged with perjury no matter what she says.
She will not testify, however. She won’t come off well and the Ds know it. They’re going to continue using her as a foil to try to delay more.
