Savage is a MORON and nobody should listen his program.
If the statement is 100% B.S. and can be proved so, there are only two things that get this "Sweatnik" person out of legal trouble:
1. If she never authorized Avenatti to release it.
2. If she doesn't exist.
A declaration is a written statement submitted to a court in which the writer swears ‘under penalty of perjury’ that the contents are true. That is, the writer acknowledges that if he is lying, he may be prosecuted for perjury. Declarations are normally used in place of live testimony when the court is asked to rule on a motion.

Right. IANAL, but this seems to be some kind of ploy or gambit. The Senate is not a court of law and if they delay proceedings because of some document posted to Twitter, well that is their prerogative. But if this affidavit was not filed with the Senate or a Court it is probably not under the law “sworn under penalty of perjury”. It is just an attorney-client work product.
Hence I think it is a gambit, they are trying to force the Senate to make the wrong move.
Republicans never learn. This is why you force the vote when you are up to your ankles in sh*t instead of waiting until it is up to your neck.
“Dr.” Michael Weiner, (PhD in nutrition) learned he’d make a pile more money with his angry, screaming radio schtick, than publishing homeopathic nutrition books.

Savage and Bill O’Reilly are the same class of charlatan. They are all over the map. That way everybody agrees with them some of the time.
I don’t know who listens to Savage any more, I really don’t.
I have issues with other talk jocks, (boring, repetitive, too angry, too many commercials, bad with guests, phony) but Savage is simply nuts. He is really unstable in my opinion.
It looks like a deposition transcript done by a certified court reporter. The court reporter usually swears in the deponent at the beginning, and certifies thee transcript at the end. Maybe that’s what happened?
